I couldn't find a squeezer for key limes but this works great. Don't cut the key limes in half, just make a smiley face on them with a knife, put them in the juicer and squeeze them into the glass. Works great and wrings far more juice out of the key limes then other methods I have tried. .

This is the best juicer we've ever had. It feels super solid and it extracts every last drop. I also like how it rests on the countertop in the upright position. Highly recommend.

I bought this on the advice of a friend, and I was not disappointed! This replaced a typical coated metal squeezer with no ergonomic sensibility. This squeezer is so much nicer! It doesn't hurt my hands to use, and the mechanism makes it more powerful. It is made of plastic, which might not be as durable as metal, but it certainly seems durable enough after many uses! It's easy to set down after squeezing without tipping over. It is larger than a typical squeezer, so make room in your gadget drawer!

This is fantastic! I have an abundant Key Lime tree. I’ve tried 2 other juicers, that didn’t do a complete job and made my arthritic hands sore. This is so EASY! I just squeezed 2 dozen in no time, with no hand stress. Highly recommend! Gonna get rid of the imposters…

I started making gimlets last summer, and started juicing a lot of limes. I used a juicing attachment on an old Hamilton Beach kitchen mixer. That requires a good bit of clean up, and I thought it would be nice to have a quick, simple and easy to clean alternative. This lime juicer seems to do the trick. You have to insert a half lime opposite to what seems intuitive - so that it ends up basically inside out when you're done. I found that there is some leaking of juice, and some sprinkle where you don't necessarily want it as you squeeze. But it does a nice job of juicing. But as the skin curls inside out, the edges seem to be a limiting factor in getting all the juice out. It folds back on itself at the rim of the skin. I tried cutting a slit in the edge, but it didn't really solve the problem. The part that makes me nervous is that I have strong hands, and the gear part that applies pressure from the handle to the cup is made of plastic. It feels sturdy. So far, it's been fine. But I am very conscious of not applying as much pressure as I probably could - simply because I'm afraid it will break. So far, it hasn't, but I don't want to push it to the limit, possibly break it, and have to toss it. So, I'm always reluctant to REALLY squeeze it. Clean-up is definitely faster than using the juicer attachment on the electric mixer. Run under the tap, a bit of detergent on a sponge, and it's clean. But I don't think the limes are juiced quite as fully using this, compared with the Hamilton Beach electric juicer attachment. There are trade-offs in everything. So, I think this item does a good job. But if I'm doing a LOT of limes, the clean-up for the return on the electric mixer still wins out.

Okay I use a LOT of lemon and lime juice. My handheld juicer gets used almost daily so my old one ended up corroding down to the metal. I like that this is plastic and stainless steel unlike the others that are coated in ceramic so it's super easy to clean so hopefully it'll last a long time. The pressure and leverage this thing gets is also much better than my old one that just had a simple hinge between the two sides and that's all. This thing really gets in there to get all the juice out! It's amazing!

lange habe ich gebraucht, um mich für eine Zitronenpresse dieser Art zu entscheiden und habe mir auch sehr viele Bewertungen durchgelesen. Hier mein Fazit: Presse liegt gut in der Hand, welches ein leichtes Pressen der Zitrone oder Limette ermöglicht. Material ist guter Kunststoff der nicht billig wirkt. Verarbeitung schön & gut. Leicht zu reinigen. Habe es noch nicht gebraucht, würde aber bestimmt auch für den Geschirrspüler passen. Ich presse die Frucht direkt in einen Krug od. Glas und kann keine Querspritzer feststellen. Auch presst das Gerät ziemlich alles aus der Zitrone. Eine ältere Frucht wird mehr ausgequetscht, als eine frische. Ich komme sehr gut damit zurecht und kann die weniger guten Bewertungen nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. Auch kommt bei mir kaum merklich Saft über den Schale der Zitrone/Limette. Endlich habe ich frischen Saft ohne viel Aufwand. Amazon-Versand wie immer sehr schnell, zuverlässig und diesmal Versandkostenfrei. Eindeutige Kaufempfehlung von mir.

How did I live without this guy? It’s sturdy and gives you about 15% more juice than any other lime juicer I’ve used in the past. Perfect for margaritas 🤭
