Medical 6" Extra Large Cotton Swab w/Wooden Handle - 806-WCL (Box of 500)

I bought these because I got tired of using the Q-Tip brand swabs. The Q-Tips seemed to me over time to have weaker and weaker cardboard sticks to the point they were useless for cleaning due to bending under pressure. This Puritan brand has wood sticks which work great. One clear change is, this Puritan brand has a slightly oversize cotton ball on the end. While it is well attached and density is good, it is a little oversize for the ear canal. Even though everyone says dont use q-tips in your ear, lets get real, everyone uses them for ear cleaning. You might find these a little large. I sometines pull a little cotton off the end before using. I am completely happy with 'stick too strong and oversize', both attributes I can adjust to much easier than 'too small and also stick too flexible'.

The wood sticks on these tips are nice and strong and cotton on tips is not stingy. Good product and good value.

Great Product. Strong applicator. Used a cheaper brand and had to switch back to this one. Its a quality product and worth the price.

The swabs are ideal for cleaning small parts. I also use them for gluing , painting, stoppers for RTV tubes, and many other things. They are great for cleaning out the lightning port on my Phone. Just whittle the stick down to have a non-conductive tool that removes the lint from my pocket that gets stuck in there preventing the phone from charging correctly.4 stars because the wooden sticks seem to break more easily than in the past.
