Great coverage, natural finish, love this one
This CC cream has become a staple in my routine. The coverage is medium to full but somehow still looks airbrushed and natural, not cakey or heavy at all. It blends in so easily and evens out my skin tone without feeling like I'm wearing a ton of product. The color correcting aspect actually works too, it helps neutralize redness and discoloration before you even build up coverage, which cuts down on needing extra concealer. Having SPF 30 built in is a great bonus, one less step in my routine and good peace of mind for daily wear.Light 250 W matched my skin tone well and didn't oxidize or turn orange throughout the day. It also held up nicely without looking greasy or sliding off, even through a full day.Love that it's vegan and cruelty free too, feels good supporting a brand that cares about that. Great price point for the quality you're getting, definitely repurchasing.

The Truth!
I determined this color 560 C because I used the elf Halo glow number 7 and wear MAC NW48 through a Google search this color was recommended for me. I'm a medium brown complexion with hyperpigmentation on my cheeks neck and chin. Basically the entire bottom half of my face. Through the years I tried many different makeup to correct without a face full of diffrent prodicts. I've been wearing Mac studio fix original formula NW48 for roughly the 5 last years. Though it covered well, I wasn't too pleased on how it looked because pigmentation still was coming through. Also, I felt it was matching my pigmentation instead of covering it while letting my true complexion come through. Recently I tried the MAC full coverage cream to powder foundation, and it was extremely heavy. I wanted something different. So I researched and found the elf products. I first tried Halo glow number 7. Though it wasn't a full coverage makeup I just wanted to see how that looked on my skin. I was very pleased with the look and feel on my face. So I researched more and found this product that I thought would give me all the things that I was looking for in a full coverage makeup. I desperately wanted the SPF to keep my skin protected to prevent further darkening. I am astonished! This makeup not only covers the hyperpigmentation but it actually matches my natural skin tone perfectly. I feel like this is my skin in a tube...FLAWLESS! It doesn't darken me down to my hyperpigmentation it brightens me up to my natural tone and covers the pigmentation. I went to a family barbecue on the 12th of September and everyone was complimenting me on how beautiful my skin was. What's even more crazy is I only used a very small amount. Not even a half a pump per side!!! My face feels like I'm not wearing anything. MAC $45 E.L.F $15. I'm never using MAC again.

Takes some getting used to, but I'm hooked
I first bought this among several other drugstore products whilst on a search to replace a high-end foundation that had become too expensive for me to continue buying. The e.l.f. Camo CC Cream had been suggested as something people who liked the other foundation also liked. I tried it, and I absolutely hated it at first -- it goes on very patchy, doesn't last well on my oily skin, and my primer (Smashbox Photo Finish) only made the problems worse. But, I was stuck with the bottle and I figured, "Well, I don't want it to go to waste. I'll keep it around in case I need a more moisturizing foundation."The turning point was actually when the Renaissance Fair came up a few months later. This CC Cream has a SPF 30 which is atypically high for foundation, so in that regard it was perfect for being out all day in the sun. I just had to find a way to make it stay. Since my Renfair makeup is a production that takes weeks or months of test runs there was ample time to devise a system, and ultimately using it in combination with Mehron Barrier Spray kept it on all day in 90 degree heat. Moreover, I learned in the course of my testing that, although the CC Cream tends to come off easier than my preferred foundation, it also repairs more easily than that foundation. Meaning: if I have to do something like wipe my nose and all the makeup comes off, it's simple to retouch with more makeup and not end up with a patchy effect. So, given the realities of wintertime I switched to the Camo CC Cream as my everyday makeup. I also went ahead and bought the e.l.f. Liquid Poreless Putty Primer and that also made a big difference in the wear of this makeup: with the putty primer it's not anywhere near as patchy, and it stays on much better, as well as getting a more flattering matte finish. The necessity of wearing it with the primer does add to the cost per application, but, it's still cheaper than that high-end stuff I was replacing.

Alternative to full coverage foundation
If you want an alternative to wearing full coverage foundation then THIS IS IT! I came across this gem about 3 years ago when I was trying to purchase actual foundation but the store didn’t have what I needed in an emergency situation so I grabbed this and I haven’t turned back since. It’s lightweight, again full coverage, it blends really well, easy to use pump-like dispenser to control how much you’re using and lasts all day on your face, even through the hot summers because it has SPF 30 sunscreen. Ladies go RUN to get it and thank me later!

As to Performance...
I read about this CC Cream and was eager to try it because it sounded like it had good ingredients for my mature skin-collagen, peptides, niacinamide and even sunscreen. I did not just randomly order a shade but instead first went to a makeup match finder site. That was so I could supposedly as closely as possible match up my former shade to a shade of the e.l.f. CC cream. It ended up being a warm medium shade. When I first got the CC cream and attempted to try it the pump would not work. I pushed and pushed and pushed on the pump multiple times and was not able to get anything out. It wasn't until later when I tried a 2nd time some CC cream shot out. A tube that could be "squeezed" with just a small opening at the top might be better for dispensing the cream instead of a pump applicator. As for the cream itself it is rather thick, more so than several makeup brands I already have. It was rather dry feeling and difficult to spread. After wearing the CC cream for awhile too it oxidized turning an unflattering orangey color. I noticed others mentioned those things too-so it wasn't just me experiencing some of that stuff. This CC cream also sank into pores after awhile too and made them more pronounced looking doing no favors for my mature skin. Makeups can be iffy--depending on whether you can find a shade to compliment your undertones, skin type or address certain skin issues. I tried two different shades and had similar difficulties with each.

Probably the BEST 'Your Skin But Better' product!
I have to say, I remember when E.L.F. first debuted as a cosmetic brand, and they've come an INCREDIBLY long way. I have never been displeased with anything they've come out with in the last two or three years, and there are even a few products of theirs that were so good I either replaced my usual luxury products with it or simply cannot tell the difference. I've never tried a CC Cream before, but have been dying to give it a go, so when I saw this come out I simply HAD to order some.I will say, the package is about on par with what you would normally get from a drugstore brand- it's plastic tubing, and it's not anything especially gorgeous to look at, BUT!!! 1.05 oz is pretty good for the price and quality- my FENTY foundation that I normally use is like $30 or $40 and you still only get 1.08 oz.Now let's talk about coverage, baby! I am a very pasty lady, and because of this ANY hyperpigmentation is super noticeable, especially on my face. I have very rosy cheeks, I have very visible pores on my cheeks and nose, and of course I have some acne scarring from my teenage years. This product covers them smoothly, gracefully, and without any visible caking or creasing. I will say that this is a product you won't want to use for a REALLY full-coverage makeup look, but for my lovelies who like going for a softer, more natural look, this might just be perfect. It's nice and lightweight, and you don't really feel greasy even though it's got a more dewy, natural finish. I am very confident that I could wear this to work and nobody would notice that I had foundation on- which is exactly what I'm going for! And as someone who has difficulty finding foundation that is actually MY shade and not just 'the lightest shade of foundation this brand happens to carry', I do also have to say that they did a fantastic job with their shade matching. So again, I am VERY satisfied with this product, it works very well with products from other brands (I apply a cream blush instead of a powder, and I also tend to use brushes over beauty blenders which do have a way of sometimes scraping makeup off rather than applying more- I have not had a problem with that while using the E.L.F. CC Cream foundation). I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to give a new product a chance.

Expired
Check the expiration date on the tube before using. First order had an expiration date of 2/26. The replacement had the same expiration date. In general, this cc cream is similar to IT Cosmetics CC but more affordable. The coverage is great. You only need a very little amount to get the results that you need.

Covers all my yucky spots on my arms. I use it every day in the Summer.
This cream covers all flaws on my arms and torso. If I need to show skin, I'm breaking this stuff out. It can ruin your towels, that's how good it is...
