Wonderful screen for the price. Good value.
Wonderful screen for the price. I have been using the Sceptre U275W-UPT monitor for a year now and it works very well with no issues. It has impressive quality and performance. The 3840 x 2160 resolution looks great with everything being sharp, colorful, and vibrant. I adjusted the display to 175% scale; to increase the text size (150% is recommended). Overall, I use it for everyday household purposes but imagine that it would be wonderful for business or gaming purposes as well.

You get a lot for the price!
This is an excellent 4K monitor for the price! It works great, no issues. I use it for gaming and it provides a stunning image quality upgrade over my 1440P monitor. Detial is great, colors pop, and no issues with dead pixels. I've been using this monitor for a year now and have been very impressed. Just an FYI, this monitor is a 10bit 4K 60Hz monitor, and if you set it to 70Hz then it switches to 8bit. If you switch it to 75Hz then it reduces the resolution to 1440P. But more than acceptable for the price.

Impressive 4K Monitor for the Price!
I’ve been using the Sceptre U275W-UPT monitor for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and performance it delivers at this price point. The 3840 x 2160 resolution looks fantastic everything is incredibly sharp and vibrant. Setup was quick and straightforward. With multiple input options including HDMI and DisplayPort, it fits perfectly into my multi-device setup running four computers. The built-in speakers are a nice bonus great for casual use when I don’t feel like wearing headphones. That said, I haven’t yet found a way to switch audio automatically when changing inputs between PCs, which would be a helpful addition. There are a few things to keep in mind. First, the monitor does not support Picture-in-Picture (PiP) or Picture-by-Picture (PbP) modes, which would be useful for multitasking across multiple sources. Second, if you plan to use a VGA to HDMI adapter to connect older devices, this monitor may not be compatible. I tested it with a known working adapter and was unable to get a signal. Additionally, the monitor is relatively thick, so be prepared for it to stick out a bit more than slimmer models, especially if you're mounting it. Overall, despite these minor limitations, this is a fantastic 4K monitor with excellent image quality, solid build, and useful features at a very reasonable price. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their workspace without spending a fortune.

Ridiculous value with reasonable compromises
I'm very, very happy with this purchase. My 12 year old monitor is still going, but I wanted an upgrade while on a tight budget. This monitor caught my eye, and I decided to take a gamble on it. After a small hitch in getting it set up(apparently my monitor is so old its HDMI cable wouldn't even work on a 4k screen!), I've been very impressed. The Good: image quality is fantastic. I honestly don't know what else to say, while I can absolutely see room for improvement in some areas taken on its own it's just gorgeous. Additionally, this model(or at least the one I got) DOES have adaptive sync. I have no idea why the listing says otherwise, let alone other reviewers. Just more value for your money. The Bad: Viewing angles are rough, and are most noticeable with white and black backgrounds. No HDR obviously and some IPS glow/backlight bleed in the lower corners of the panel. It's only really noticeable on black bars, though, and honestly to be expected for a SUB-$200 4K PANEL. Set up took a bit of finagling, be sure to turn off Overdrive if you're noticing artifacting when scrolling on text. Ghosting isn't terrible, but not as good as I'd been lead to believe. Non-adjustable stand is sturdy but an ergonomic annoyance, and will likely need replacing for my set up since it's a shade too tall(4" clearance). The ugly: none, so far! Conclusion: Don’t be fooled by the longer list of negatives. The reality is it’s a $179, 27” 4K panel. Anyone expecting it to not fall short in some ways or to be some insane showroom-level model isn’t being realistic, and honestly it’s mostly nitpicks. What you get is a beautiful 4k monitor at a price that is ridiculous considering the competition, and that I think the vast majority of people who just want something that looks good would be VERY happy to have. Particularly at this price point. I'll update if this device malfunctions within the return period, but I anticipate being very happy with this purchase(and, it can’t be overstated, the extra cash saved).

Great Picture But……
As others state, the picture is great. The colors are bright and vibrant. I bought this monitor for both work and grad school, so it was going to be used daily. I liked that it had multiple hdmi inputs, so I could use my windows laptop I use for work, and my Mac Mini that is my personal and school computer. Literally a day after the normal return policy the screen had a small maybe 3x3 or 4x4 inch square section that would flicker. It drove me crazy. I tried everything, switched cables looked at video settings on my computers, but it did it for both computers on different inputs and resolution settings. A couple days before it going bad I decided to throw the box away thinking I had a great product, and it was at the end of the return policy. That turned out to make sending it back difficult as well. Sceptre was going to start a warranty process but, but the wrote about how if it gets damaged claims would be denied most likely and reading on reddit some say it took almost a month for the box to come that they send out, and another month to actually warranty the product. Amazon thankfully said they would take it back, and issued a return label and actually gave me credit for the box and bubble wrap I purchased at home depot. The only problem with them is its been a week and the item still isn’t even showing delivered yet, so waiting for them to issue me store credit as well. This is very frustrating as I stated earlier I need this for work. My previous LG ultrawide lasted 8 years before finally giving out, and I never had issues. I think its time to go back to the beautiful LG displays and quality. Maybe I had a fluke, but others have posted videos of display issues as well, which mine was not like theirs but it does show there is known issues, although every product will have a few not perfect ones.

My 27" Sceptre Monitor: The Upgrade I Didn't Know I Neededl
was helping a friend with a project when her monitor nearly broke my soul. After just one hour of squinting at that dim, washed-out screen, I rushed home, fired up my 27-inch Sceptre 4K , and immediately started typing this review. This thing is outstanding. I sit in front of it 3–4 hours every single day, and I’d been taking that buttery-smooth, vibrant quality completely for granted. Crisp details, rich colors, zero eye strain — it just delivers day after day. Until I saw what my friend and neighbor are working with, I didn’t realize how spoiled I am. This monitor is the ultimate “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone”… except in reverse. Out of sight? Definitely not out of mind. If you’re staring at a screen for hours, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this beast. You’ll thank yourself every single day.

Great workstation monitor!
These are my go-to bang-for-buck workstation monitors. I see them advertised as "gaming monitors," which strikes me as odd, given that most gamers I know really want at least 120Hz refresh rates for their shooty-shooty-bang-bang partytimes. This? This is a drop-dead-sexy work monitor at a really accessible price, and I'm not sure why you'd choose it for gaming. 99% sRGB gamut, UHD resolution, built-in basic sound that's not awful...this is a workstation monitor, folks. And it's a great workstation monitor. I own two. I love them. Bright, clear, colors accurate enough for my light Photoshop work, resolution high enough that fonts just look awesome, smooth and natural...this is a great work monitor. Surprisingly sturdy base -- it looks flimsy but it really isn't -- and a beautiful edge-to-edge light and color balance. You want gaming? Look at Sceptre's other models, with faster refresh rates and lower latency. You want a great 27" work monitor for under $200? You've come to the right place. If your Excel spreadsheets need more than 60fps, your life is much more exciting than mine.
