Love these! I have had them for 2.5 years now, and they are still going strong. For maybe a year to 2, I was making muffins every week using these scoopers! I noticed the reviews indicated that these scoopers weren't lasting long, so I decided when I got them, I would baby them. I always immediately wash them after use and dry them. To dry them, I make sure that I lift the swinging piece to its maximum opposite side and then slightly move it higher to dry underneath the sliding blade. (See my pic to understand what I mean, if my explanation is confusing.) I also never fully immerse the scoopers. I just plunge the head of the scooper in the water and not the rest of the mechanism, which could rust and become harder to move. My scoopers are in excellent condition 2.5 years later. The sliding blade moves perfectly smoothly. The only negative about these scoopers is that I wish there was a size between the green one and the red one for muffin filling. The green one is too large and the red one too small. I use the green one mainly now and just under fill it. I bought these originally because my son's baking class in high school used these colour ones, so I figured they were more durable. However, I have never used these scoopers on ice cream and only once in cookie dough.

I’ve had these for over a year and they are amazing for scooping ice cream. I also use them to portion out burgers, filling muffin trays and scooping melon balls. They are super easy to use, and the sizes are for what I need it for. They’re easy to clean and have been super durable. I appreciate that the have a solid grip handle as well. Highly recommend.

After trying these cookie scoops I'm never going to buy an OXO scoop again! They break repeatedly and are expensive! These cookie Scoops are fantastic! They come in a set of 3, are easy to use, use a thumb trigger, and the dough comes out clean with a nice round form. I can't say enough good things about this set.
