Great Pencil. Absolutely recommended.
Being an avid mechanical pencil fan, I've used quite a few over past couple years. This one will surely be at the upper end of the list for it's egronomically balanced structure, well settled grip, long sturdy body and light weight. This one is a joy to use even for prolonged period. I have fairly middle sized hands in comparison of an indian male, so yes, it's been a great tool for me.

Best for drafting and precision drawings.
The design is good with proper weight balance. There is a nice gap between the pencil holding position and the tip. The lead shaft at the end is also long enough for drafting purpose... It's comfortable and easy to use.

Amazing pencil
This is my first Pentel mechanical pencil. After a lot of consideration chose this over graphgear. Everything about this pencil feels perfect for me - the balance, weight, grip and precision. Effortless to write or draw with it. A well designed and well built product. Love it.

Best for long durations sketching
I was looking for good machanical for long duration work my first choice was graphgear 500 or 1000 but these two pencils are quite heavy not suitable for long duration I got my hand on graphgear 500 i friend of mine gave it to me for a day i tried it did my design work for 6 hrs and man that pencil felt heavy after the end of my work and graphgear 500 is 15 gms so I looked for a better option then got to know about graph 1000 pro which looks better then other graphgear series it's well balanced 10 gm only I did 2 days nonstop work for my jury with this pencil man this pencil felt great if you want a light pencil for long work go for it it's better then graphgear series

Very good mechanical pencil
I have quite a few mechanical pencils I use on a regular basis to take notes. This Pentel is one of the best I have had in a wide range of brands save Lamy. Pentel is my favorite mainly because of its sheer quality and comfort. In the past I heavily relied on PG305/307 and PG507 but GRAPH1000 PG1007 is different animal if you have to write for long hours. It is robust, super light, comfortable. Worth every penny! I cannot recommend it enough unless you manage to grab a nostalgic Pentel PG307 somewhere...

Best mechanical pencil in my opinion
When I was around 10 years old my dad, who was an architect, gave me this mechanical pencil in 0.7mm size. The pencil got me through elementary school, high school, undergraduate, and graduate degrees and 25+ years later I am surprised that I still have this pencil to this day and have not lost it. The brand and model labeling rubbed off early on and I could never find what maker/model this pencil is. Throughout all these years I have tried numerous other pencils, some of which were quite expensive like some from rOtring. Although some are really nice, I kept going back to this Pentel that I received from my dad, due to comfort, build, and style. I always wished I could order more of these but could never find out who made them or if they were still made. One day browsing youtube, I saw a guy reviewing the Pentel Graph 1000 for Pro and I was like, holy crap, that's the exact mechanical pencil that I love. After doing some more research, it was an exact match to the one that my dad gave me, so luckily Amazon carried some and ordered a few in. Comparing the new models to my old one that dated 25+ years ago, they are nearly identical (only differences I could see is the sheen of black is now a bit more matte). After close inspection of my original and the new one, I can say that the quality and feel are exactly the same. I was so happy I found out that Pentel still makes these so many years later and I was able to get a new set. Pros: - 4mm tip. - Construction is solid with brass front cap, metal/rubber grip, really solid plastic body, metal/brass mechanism. - Weight is quite light and pencil is perfectly balanced and very comfortable. - Durability: well I have had my original for 25+ years and although it is beat up and I have lost the clip and the top cap, it still works. Probably has taken 100's of drops throughout all these years and never had issues. Cons: - Absolutely none. Like I said above, I have tried a vast variety of other mechanical pencils out there, including some expensive ones, and I find the Pentel Graph 1000 to be the best out of all of them.

Affordable, Comfortable, and Reliable
The Pentel Graph 1000 for Pro is a very good mechanical pencil. It feels comfortable in the hand, writes smoothly, and is dependable for drafting, drawing, and everyday writing. It also offers excellent quality for an affordable price. The tip broke off my first one, which was disappointing, but the pencil otherwise performed so well that I decided to replace it. Overall, its comfort, reliability, and value still make it a five-star product for me.
