I bought this PROfezzion 58mm circular polarizing filter (CPL) for my Canon kit lens, and it has instantly become an essential part of my camera bag. The difference it makes is incredible. The primary benefit is eliminating unwanted reflections and glare. I've used it to take photos through windows and of water surfaces, and it cuts through the glare perfectly, allowing me to see what's underneath. It also removes the harsh white reflections from leaves and foliage, making the greens in nature scenes look much more vibrant and saturated. The second biggest win is deepening blue skies and improving contrast. On a sunny day, rotating the filter makes the blue in the sky "pop" and makes white clouds stand out dramatically against it. It adds a level of depth to landscape photos that is very difficult to achieve in editing software later. The filter feels well-made, with a slim metal frame that shouldn't cause vignetting (dark corners) on my standard lens. The front thread allows me to still use a lens cap, which is a great plus. A quick tip for new users: Remember, you have to rotate the front ring of the filter to see the effect change. Look through your viewfinder or at your screen while you turn it to see the reflections disappear and the colors deepen. If you're looking to step up your photography game, this is one of the most effective and affordable tools you can buy. Highly recommended!

For the price I wasn’t expecting this to be great it seemed to good to be true but so far I have no faults. This does what it supposed to do and doesn’t seem to affect image quality. The only thing I could say is that it’s not a particularly strong effect, it did bring the blue back in to the sky though giving it a more subtle effect than that of the more expensive filters I’ve had. Filter is easy enough to screw on and off but the lense cap only just grips on for dear life not and issue I’d had before but not a huge issue. The filter itself will protect the lens and this price I won’t panic if it breaks.

works as it should, gives good results - but is now stuck on my lens and no amount of strength can get it off 😔 so i’m unable to use the lens without it now and will have to purchase another.

Nothing bad here. It's a good lens and removes glare as I wanted it to. No issues with the screw fit.
