I ordered this set of capacitors for my workbench. I enjoy kit building and sometimes I need an extra part to complete a project. An excellent set of many of the most common values of capacitors used.

I tinker, recently had change in work, so this gives me a good assortment of devices to tinker with.

Comprehensive kit of 300 multilayer ceramic capacitors in 30 values. Organized storage box. Perfect for electronics projects and repairs.

Good selection of capacitor values, pretty much every (common) standard value over the stated capacitance range. I cannot speak to the secondary characteristics of these devices (ESR, leakage, temperature tolerance) as I have not tested them to that extent. I really like the way these are packaged - the individual containers and separate latching lids for each section ensure that the parts don't get mixed up if the container is shaken. It could probably even stay closed if dropped a short distance (have not tried this though). Some of the other electronic component kits I've purchased previously would use containers with poor tolerances and movable dividers that would let small components (like these) slip under or over the dividers even when the single lid was closed. There's little or no risk if this happening with the containers used in this line of products.

Needed these for nfd caps. More than I'll ever use, at a great price.

Very wide fluctuation of values. I tested all 900. About 30% are within 2% tolerance. 30% are 3 to 5% and the rest are from 6% to off the charts not useable. One tray was 1 cap short, all the others good. But some values were all useless. Like 330 nf and 680 nf. While some like the little containers, I find them very small. And how do you separate the good from the bad and the ugly? update: retested and the 7 highest values .33 uf to 10 uf are no good. So at least 30% of the total are junk. If you compare the value of the 300 good to the price they are still affordable but make sure you can test them. Check Retired's review. I found some with ESR's of 10 ohms. Not worth the time to return.

Well sorted capacitor. Really handy while prototyping.
