You need these in your IFAK. They’re affordable and work really well for small to moderately sized cuts and gashes. They help stop bleeding quickly and are easy to apply, which makes a big difference in situations where you need fast action. It’s one of those items you hope you don’t need, but you’re glad to have when you do. They’re compact, lightweight, and easy to carry, so there’s really no reason not to keep a few on hand. Overall, cheap, effective, and a smart addition to any first aid kit.

This stuff just works, period. I've used it so many times on minor cuts that just wouldn't stop bleeding. It's not like the older style bleed stop that burns, it just clumps the blood and forms a scab. No heat, no pain, no kidding. For larger wounds, pour this into the wound, cover with gauze and wrap with some self-adhesive bandage wrap and you're good to go see an urgent care facility. Really bad wound? Pour this in, and wrap with a pressure bandage and transport to an emergency medical facility. This stuff buys you time. It will keep the patient from bleeding out.

I was a sceptic, but it works great. I sliced my thumb open when a glass that I was holding broke. Of course, it was Thanksgiving day. Options were a hospital emergency room ($$$) or nothing. I couldn't get the bleeding to stop. I was getting ready to bite the bullet and go to the emergency room when I remember that I had bought this product several months ago and threw it in the trunk of my car. The cut was bad enough that I didn't sprinkle the product on my thumb, but instead, I opened the bag and stuck my thumb in the pouch and then just held the pouch tight around my thumb. The bleeding was completely stopped in a couple of minutes. Just leave the Bleed Stop in the wound. It does not stop it from healing. I washed off the excess the next day. No doubt my thumb needed stitches, but not at what an emergency room would cost. Great product and preforms exactly as advertised. Definitely a must have in any first aid kit and especially when hiking.

Works great! We keep one on every floor of our house, in case of an emergency. Also in our car. It helps with any kind of a skintare. Packages are very convenient to keep a pocketbook.

Must have for proper kit.

Product works exactly how it was designed to work, probably saved my wife’s life. My wife was cutting the plastic price tag loop off her beach bag and cut her hand unintentionally, the problem is she is on blood thinning medication, so just applying pressure wasn’t enough. I remembered my trauma kit on the front seat and used a pack on her injury, the results were immediate. The doctor stitching her hand said I probably saved her life, so yes, this item has been battle tested and has proven itself!

We happened to have some of this on hand...it was very old, but it worked like a charm when my husband cut his thumb that we could not get to stop bleeding....he had some in his hunting backpack....saved us a trip to the hospital....I now keep it on hand for wounds and I also ordered it for nose bleeds.

I bought this a few years ago to keep in my first aid kits (ya know.... boys/ bikes/ fishing etc..) .... unfortunately I just had a use for it..... and oh my is it good stuff! I came back to order more so I can keep it everywhere... I hope to never ever need it again. Buy it!

However, being that Amazon is environmentally-conscious, and likely due to unanimous feedback, they now take much greater care so as to prevent this. * Unlike styptic pencils, other brands and older variations, BleedStop does not sting! * It works very well for nosebleeds (dab powder directly on the broken vessel with finger, if possible) Although, BleedStop also comes in strips, specifically for this purpose * It has a very impressive expiry date! I purchased a box in December 2024 and its expiry date is August 2030 (I doubt it gets better than this) * It is FDA cleared as a hemostatic powder and is approved for moderate to severe bleeding, including nosebleeds. It is also cleared as safe to leave in the wound and for use by those on blood thinners, or who experience prolonged bleeding * It states that it's non-cauterizing, non-stinging, hypoallergenic, and safe to use on children and sensitive areas * It is made from a proprietary, plant-based formula to accelerate clot formation Caveat: It is not approved for severe arterial bleeding, therefore; in cases as these, it's essential to seek emergency medical care by either calling 911 or attending an ER, immediately! * It's easy to use.... just pour powder on the wound, cover with a gauze dressing or bandage and apply firm pressure * This product is well worth having in your first-aid kit. These are life savers. Weather alone or with friends these are extremely handy for cuts and small wounds that need something to prevent major blood loss.

He escuchado buenas referencias del producto, afortunadamente NO lo he necesitado; pero ahora lo cargo en mi botequín personal por cualquier uso que se le pueda dar. Un buen auxiliar en la retención de sangrados.
