This fan is everything we were looking for at a great price in comparison to the box stores. It came with everything needed for installation, it looks fantastic, and the different light color options is pretty cool. It moves a lot of air even being up in the vaulted ceiling. The remote control works very well also

We LOVE this fan. It's in a big living room with a tall ceiling & catwalk to upstairs bedrooms. We run this fan 10+ hours per day during the summer. It is so quiet and powerful, we will probably also use it some during the winter. We wish we had replaced our old fan years ago. It's pretty unusual for us to bother using the light, we have better options in the room. Details: We installed this in a room with an 18' ceiling, using our old/existing 72" downrod that looked very much like the downrods that came with the fan, just longer. We rented scaffolding to make installation possible, but it was a process (not the fan's fault; the cost of scaffolding, extension wiring, tools, and shrink connectors, etc. - all added up to about the same amount as the fan). The main unexpected installation struggle was sufficiently bending the wires that come out the top of the downrod so that we could get the remote receiver in place (it is a _tight_ fit). So, if you use downrods that didn't come with the fan, be aware it will take some effort to get the remote control receiver to fit, even if the downrod looks correct. Balancing was straightforward with the included weights & directions. Pros: •Powerful - this thing moves a lot of air •Quiet - SO quiet •Remote control is great - we love every feature •Timer (hit the 1 or 3 hour timer button & head to bed, knowing it won't needlessly run all night) Meh: •Light is OK, but doesn't get as bright or dim as we had hoped; 3 colors are nice, but because there is only a single button on the remote, you have to cycle to the one you want. It would be _super_ nice if the remote had a separate button to change color/temperature. •It takes a few seconds for the fan to respond to the remote (hit the button & literally count to 3) •The installation video & directions don't match - but this is potentially helpful Cons: None

this is a well made fan. works great---as it should. fan is fast & quiet. remote control is also well made and works well. installation was easy---although the directions might not be detailed enough for a newby DYI. i would buy it again. i'm surprised there isn't a trim ring for going around the base of the fan where it meets the ceiling----to cover the gap, and also to cover the silver mounting screws on the side of the base. with a trim ring it would have gotten 5 stars.

This ga. Is not only beautiful, but it runs so quiet. You can’t even hear it. Having the multiple lighting, makes it just lovely for a bedroom.

So happy! Quiet, no rattle or shaking so far! 3 lighting choices (all with an option to dim). We had to take an old fan down and replace with this one so I’m guessing install time is around an hour if putting in new, otherwise give yourself an hour and a half. I was worried that the black box that communicates with the remote wouldn’t fit in the fan housing but it does!! And the fan is reversible…another bonus. All parts were in the box! It works great.

We have an old house, so we hired an electrician. This fan is nearly silent, moves air really well and looks great. Super happy!

The ad fails to mention that the light cover is entirely plastic, even the part that appears to be stainless. It has a very cheap look and feel to it. I sent mine back right after I took it out of the box. False advertising by omission of this important detail.
