This was a Christmas gift for my foodie recent college grad nephew. I’ve personally been a fan of Wüsthof knives for a long time. They do what I need them to which is to cut well. I like that they’re still made in Europe as opposed to china. They sharpen well and hold their edges. Good knives a one of the most important tools for cooking! And honestly IMO you really only *need* a few knives. A good chef’s knife, a good paring knife, and a serrated knife for bread/ tomatoes etc. This fits 2/3! TLDR: GREAT value

Felt a little tricked with this purchase, thought it was a good price for a replacement knife that I have had for a long time. Looked the same, should have known better. This product is like plastic compared to the original knife set.
