This book keeps me busy for hours dreaming and planning

This really helped myself and my wife come to agreement on what was important and flow through the home. When you are downsizing from 5500 sq ft to 3000 sg ft the flow through the home and room sizes become critical. We initially picked 23 designs and then down to 3 designs to get builder quotes on Worth every penny we spent to buy this

I am glad I bought this. Only reason for a 4 star is because there were some 2 story plans in there.

I have enjoyed looking through this book of house plans. A few have nice interior pictures. There are not many smaller house plans though, but if you are looking for medium to large they are abundant. Overall this is a great book and has a LOT to choose from.

This book is definitely a one stop shop for information, tips, and guidance with regards to building a lavish or simple one story home. The designs are straightforward and understandable. The latest and greatest trends have been considered and depicted throughout many of the designs.

Having a tangible book to look through was my goal, which this book helped accomplish. Some of the plans were hard to read. Many of the plans also started looking familiar. I was able to do an image search and find most of the plans I was looking for. By doing this I was also able to find the original architects who offered better pictures, etc. In the end it felt like this book was created by scraping websites and just putting the plans on paper. It would have been much more helpful having additional pictures to go with each layout in the book. The greatest benefit of having the book was flipping through pages, marking layouts we liked, and having a single place to do our research. I'm not sure it was worth the cost, though.

This book had a lot of home layouts for just about any taste and style. I found at least 18 suitable homes in different square foot arrangements to suite what we want. From there we eventually winnowed it down to several.What they are actually selling is blueprints for a nifty bundle for the homes you look at but any good home builder should have plans for homes like these that can be modified to suit and close to the style you pick. Our builder had no problem coming up with plans for a home like the one we showed him the floor plan of. This book simply gets you started in the right direction of what you may want. I found it very helpful.

So many floor plans, photos, and descriptions which is helping me decide what I want to build. I highly recommend this book.

I’m currently in the process of building a home. This book has many diagrams that will help me produce a final concept design.

Husband was searching for a 1-story house plan book for quite some time. The plan book arrived in a timely fashion, was a good price and shows a multitude of plans.

Purchased for husband and he is happy.
