What is the calf size on these socks?

I can only say that I wear size 11 shoes, have a 15 1/2 inch circumference calf, and the socks work well for me.

What is the compression class rating for these socks?

I have tried many of the competitive brands of compression socks. "MediPed" for me is the answer. There are those that slip on easy however, the compression is not there. I find "MediPed" consistent, easy to put on, and reasonably priced. I have paid as high as $42 dollars a pair for Rx brands. What you will find with "MediPed" is consistency.

Do these socks shed fabric or pill up?

I have been wearing these socks for several weeks almost every day, washed them a few times (in cold water) and so far have had not problem with shedding or pilling. I have been very happy with them. Note: I also purchased a few pair in Walmart and if I recall correctly they are about the same price as Amazon.

Not calf length

These are not calf length… these are shin length

Small size

Though sold as fitting 9 to 12, it is tight (I wear size 11 shoes). Also length is not like what's shown in the picture. Stays below the calf.
