I have a 2019 Durango for my work vehicle. I have 2 phones, a mifi pack, and an old IPhone I use for Sirius XM. So yeah, cable cluster going on (not to mention a hand held scanner cable). I bought this to hold the old IPhone. It fits perfect and works as others described. I adjusted to where I wanted it for easy viewing, locked it in, and tested it. When I press the buttons on the phone the unit does not move. Perfecto!! The only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to make the base swivel as opposed to locked in place. Another half inch to the right and I would have had to send it back. Now....to find a way to mount that annoying mifi pack!!! ****Note, have not road tested yet, but as firm and solid as it sits, I can't imagine any rattle.

I put this in the right side cupholder of my 2024 Honda CRV. Nobody ever uses the cupholders in my car, anyway, so that was the perfect place to stick something. I adjust it down into it's lowest position and it's just perfect--right where my hand can touch it when needed and not in the way of the gearshift. It surprised me that glancing at it while driving is less distracting--the view to the front is never obscured-- than when the phone is under the dashboard on the built-in charger. It fits very solid in the cupholder. Not shaky at all. I like the system it has for holding/releasing your phone. You just push the sides together to grip the phone and then press a little button on the back to make the sides pop open. You can run a charging cable up through the bottom into your phone. A 1.5 ft. cable will do it in my car but I used a 2 ft. black fiber cable that leaves a little slack so it stays out of the way and looks good, too. The quality seems good--nice, solid feel to it. I'm glad I didn't buy one that gripped onto the center screen or suctioned onto the dash or something worse. Nice thing about the cupholder method is that it has no effect on your car. If you don't want it in there, you just unscrew the adjustment ring, take it out and nothing has changed. In just a short time, I've gotten used to having my phone right there by my right side, so I don't think I'll be removing it. If it fits your car design and you can live without one of your cupholders, I highly recommend it.

Stays in the cupholder pretty well. Phone stays in holder pretty well unless hit at the top of the screen. Easy to adjust viewing angle and to secure the base. One touch release on the back of the holder.

I don’t usually give 5 star ratings because there is always something that is not perfect. There is either a design flaw, poor materials, poor manufacturing, cost issues, etc. However, in this instance I can’t find anything that is not up to par. It holds my phone in place, even on rough roads, is designed well, made of good materials, and functions as depicted. Very happy with this product.

This cupholder phone stand is fantastic. It is adjustable and almost any direction you need it to be. It fits all sizes of cupholders. The only problem that I had is that it didn't really come with directions. I had to figure out how to adjust everything which you think would be easy, but I'm old! The height is perfect so that it doesn't impede my vision otherwise but I can see it if I glance over. I bought it specifically for my Honda Civic, but it fits easily in my Honda Odyssey flimsy little cupholder that they give you. I've only had it for a little while so durability I'll have to comment on at some other time with an update but so far I love this. Edit. So the car I bought this for was totaled (not my fault). This survived the crash and is now being used in my Honda Odyssey. So far the durability is fantastic and I use this all the time. It's not in the best position but that's not this holder's fault. I won't get another one only due to the location of the cup holders in my new car.

My older 2025 version failed after 2 years of use and I over tightened one of the nuts to snap. It STILL maintained the phone angle until the replacement arrived. This one is easier to adjust and the base arm is adjustable that makes the ability to customize to good arm length\height easier. Great product and already happy to have it.

The adjustable base means it fits tightly in any cup holder so there is no vibration. I love the release button on the back so you can just pick up your phone when done. Easy to insert the phone and holds securely until released. A great product at a great price.

The holder fits my Apple 8 plus phone with the otter case fine , which is quite nice as many holders do not expand that wide . The holder itself is a decently made product , it does rattle when the phone is not in it . I have a smaller vehicle so it does seem to get in the way a bit of the gear shifter , I’m sure in a bigger car this would not be an issue . It holds the phone very securely and does not vibrate while driving .

The phone holder part is nice and smooth and the button to release it works good. The cup holder base is solid and stays nice and tight in the cup holder but unfortunately this mount shakes and vibrates a lot driving- very similar to those cheap dollar store mounts with the flexible gooseneck arms. I was able to lower the arm a bit to cut down the shaking, but it wasn’t in my ideal placement that way. The higher you adjust it the more it vibrates. I was a bit disappointed for the cost. I prefer the FloveMe phone mount that I replaced over this one. It was a lot more solid and didn’t vibrate like this one. 6.8/10

The item fits securely in the cup holder of my vehicle and is quite adjustable - both at the base within the cup holder and for positioning of the phone. The screw mechanism to expand and secure the base in the holder works well. The arms are easy to position and can be moved and adjusted depending on how tightly you secure the various joints. The push-button release to open the clamp that holds the phone works well, and the clamp arms can be tightened around the selected device by squeezing them together. In my experience it holds tightly and I’ve never had an issue with the phone feeling unsecured. As some reviewers have stated, the unit sometimes rattles when no phone is present, but I have found the issue to be easily solved by fully closing the clamp arms, which (for me) seems to solve the problem. I have the unit fully extended - both arms at the max - so I find the phone shakes a bit on bumpy or uneven roads due to the weight of my device, but it’s never presented a problem or been a hindrance, and I’ve never been worried about how secure the phone is in the unit. If you don’t mind losing access to a cup holder, this item is a cost effective and suitable solution if you are unable or world prefer not to use a dash- or vent-mounted option, or if you only need for temporary or occasional use. It’s easy enough to remove to regain access to the cup holder as required and reinstall within seconds when needed again. I’m very happy with the purchase overall.
