I believe it does. This was a gift so I don't have access to it. I would recommend you buy screw on caps which will be more secure.

you can send it to the Fountain Pen Hospital... it's located in NY, but the info's online and you mail it there. It would be easier if you bought a new number 6 size nib and installed it yourself... It's not that hard, I do it all the time myself ... pick one out at Goulet Pens or amazon or Fountain Pen Revolution... all on line. You can also google a youtube on how to do it and it's easy...
