These were recommended by my urologist to help prevent me from having so many kidney stones. I have only just started taking them so not sure about the outcome. I see a specialized urologist and he swears by these to provide your body with citrate to prevent stones. Keep in mind everyone has different types stones and while citrate will help mine, it might not help yours so consult your urologist. They have a very slight smell (like any supplement) but no taste because they are capsules. Easy to swallow. They don’t actually provide pain relieved from stones, they are a preventative measure. I would recommend consulting your doctor on what medications to mix based on ingredients.

I don’t know what the long term effect would be since I just started taking the capsules. So far I’ve had no side effects.

Stone Stopper's ingredients duplicate supplements I already was prescribed. This can be problematic because the ingredient list includes potassium, magnesium citrate, vitamin B6, and sodium. Because my PCP is concerned about my electrolyte balance I can't continue to take Stone Stopper. I just can't continue with it for value and over supplementation. A serving size is 4 tablets per day.
