Omnigrid 15" x 15" Square Quilting and Sewing Ruler

Omnigrid rulers are always so nice. The markings are clear and the edges are crisp. This is a great size ruler for squaring up blocks in quilting. I also love the bias marking for mitering.

Good weight and perfect for classic 9.5 inch squares

So glad of the timely delivery as I was making a T-shirt quilt and needed this size ruler. This is one of my favorite product lines for quilting rulers as they are so accurate and the lines are easy to read. They last forever.

I use this 15 x 15 inch ruler all the time. I broke my old one and immediately replaced it. It is one of the most-used rulers in my sewing room. The thing I like most about it is that it does not have the extra 1/2" seam allowance. Adding that extra half inch was a bad idea, and now most of the rulers add it. The manufacturers think quilters need help adding half an inch to a measurement. We don't. The rulers with the "built-in" seam allowances do not make cutting easier, they do not reduce mistakes. They make cutting more difficult and increase the probability of mistakes. You have to constantly check to make sure you haven't rotated your ruler. Turn it around and around. all that spinning is tedious and annoying. This 15 inch ruler is one of the few rulers on the market that does not try to help me do math by making my ruler more difficult to use. I love it! If you are wondering whether or not you would use a big ruler like this one, the answer is yes, if you are a quilter you will probably use it a lot. I use it to square things up, and I use it in conjunction with my 8x24 inch ruler to cut and crosscut my strips. Yes, some of my rulers do not get used much, but I use this 15x15 square all the time. A word about shipping-- I was worried that this big ruler would get chipped in shipping. BUT Hancock taped these great cardboard supports on both sides of the ruler. Obviously someone put some thought into how to ship this successfully and the plan worked perfectly! So, a big shout out to the shipping people, WELL DONE!

This has been a very good ruler for me to purchase because it is a great size. it's easy to see through .the marking is clearly visible. It is transparent so you can see designs and directions of the fabric. It's convenient to take with you if you travel to quilt or sew. It's a very good quality ruler. And it's a good value for the money I've had excellent cutting accuracy using this ruler so I highly recommend it

Exactly what I needed for a project I'm working on. The clear design makes it easy to use and the measurements are easy to read.

Un petit carré de 2,5 inches ( 1 inch = 2.54 cm ) Me sert beaucoup pour utiliser des chûtes de tissu et réaliser des ouvrages ( souvent utilisé dans les livres anglo-saxons ) gabarit ideal pour mes petits ouvrages.
