Are there higher quality alternatives for this??

I think the Sennheiser headsets are the best on the market, the sound quality, microphone noise cancelling and ease of use are outstanding. I use them personally, and also for my entire office, about 150 users so far. I find the regular ear hook perfectly comfortable for a few hours, but many people like the headband option for all day use.

No charging cable. You can but the charging stand for it so you can charge the earpiece while mounted in the headset. Otherwise you charge the earpiece
