I’ve been dealing with trigger thumb for a while, and this splint has made a huge difference. The moment I put it on, I felt my thumb finally stay in a comfortable, supported position without locking or clicking. I just ordered a 2nd set. These splints are comfortable, easily adjusted and easy to wear, keeping my fingers usable.

I think this will be really helpful once I get used to it. I did see a review that said the inside is a bit scratchy, and that is absolutely the case for me. I ended up ordering a set of glove liners to put underneath it, because I have very sensitive skin. Other than that, it's as comfortable as something can be on a sore part of the body. I'm dealing with significant swelling so it's going to take a while to get more comfortable, but it does a great job of keeping my thumb immobile. I tried another thumb brace previously that came from our local drugstore, and it increased the pain significantly. Our local pharmacies have a very limited selection of thumb braces, and they were much more expensive than the ones on Amazon. This one feels like it's going to be much better than the drugstore brace. The Velcro is very strong and the brace is easy to put on.

I was diagnosed with Trigger Finger (a severe sprain with slight dislocation). My insurance didn’t cover the brace, but this one replaces it perfectly! Well constructed, & held my thumb in place for proper healing. Great price, a must buy!

Works well & fits well

Thunb Splint. Sprained large knuckle on R thumb. Gives adequate support. However, the sewn in aluminum strip doesn't rest on the top of my thumb, but on the 'outside' of my thumb. (Drew lines for the insert and where I slit it to access the metal strip) Strip is on the outer side of thumb on either hand. I removed about 1/2" on one side, so it would turn and have that strip on top of my RIGHT thumb. (Practiced sewing for 3hours) Discovered my thumb had sprained 'outward', not down or up. So the metal strip location on the side would be good for that.

The splint is lightweight and easy to put on. It fits well and keeps my thumb comfortably in place.

This works great for my "trigger finger", pain from use of my mobile phone. I find comfort using the splint, and i am able to continue to use my hand for typing as needed. It assists to mobilize my sore thumb. Assists to decrease discomfort/pain.
