Yes easily....its not very big....small square shape

Could you please tell me the difference between the two?

the first one is for circle objects but the other one is for square things

Has anyone tried to exchange the light bulb for a UV light bulb instead? Can the light bulb be changed?

It's not a light bulb. It uses LED's.

Would it work to use this as a base to light up a figurine?

Yes, but the bottom of the figurine can not be larger than the light base itself.
