Great
This is exactly what I wanted. The one I previously used had velcro on the part that goes against the belt, which was slowly tearing up my belt in that spot. These only have nylon touching the belt. The hook on these are plastic as opposed to metal, which is better as well. The black metal ones eventually go from black to gold as they're used and the black gets rubbed off. Was happy to see these were both inexpensive and I got 2 of them in the package.

It worked for a broken belt. It did not last long and the other one eventually broke.

Works great with a 1.5" everyday belt and a duty belt.
Works great with a 1.5" everyday belt. Wear it clip up and hang a pepper spray on it. shortens the length and hides under a shirttail.

Nearly Impossible to Snap Together
The buttons are nearly impossible to snap together after they are separated. I basically forced them closed by pushing against a wall and then slid it onto my belt. Also, not big enough to go around a duty belt if that’s what you needed it for.

These held up pretty well under very heavy use. Over a year of use and they look almost brand new.
