Works well. Gets lots of hair off. Be patient and keep working it. Takes a little time if your dog sheds a lot.

My mom bought one at the fair a couple years ago to try it on our german shepherd (short hair) and it's been the best brush we have ever used! She still uses the same brush to this day (2-3 years later) and has yet to have to change the teeth on the short side. After adopting a cat recently and having no cat brush actually help with shedding I knew I had to get one of these again! (Mom just won't give hers up ;D ) The first time I used this on my short haired tabby I got about enough fur out to make a whole other one of him! No brush has controlled shedding on any of my animals like this one! It has worked great on a german shepherd, many short haired cats, and a medium coat Australian shepherd. Get this brush and you will not be disappointed! I have recommended it to all of my friends with pets. Happy brushing!

My friend had the Love2Pet grooming tool. We borrowed it for our Irish Wolfhound and ordered this one off of Amazon thinking it was the same tool only when it arrived instead of the 6" brush for large dogs it is 2" wide.

We bought this comb at a county fair and Love it! My cats' excess hair comes off so easily and they love being combed now. The first time I ran the comb through our cat's hair, she laid down immediately and wanted more combing, and this is the cat who wouldn't let us ever comb her. Their hair shines more and is softer, too. Best of all, we have far less cat hair to vacuum off carpet and remove from clothes. A Noticeable difference almost immediately on all accounts. Happy to see we could buy these combs from Amazon (as gifts) for the same price we got at the fair. It's a Steal! A family member also has a small dog and this works well for him, too.

This is pretty much THE best pet comb I've ever used. I've used several other, cheaper, combs on my thick-haired cat before, and none measured up to what this can preform. It takes a lot of the lose hair out in one stroke. It's easy to hold and use, and the grip is amazingly comfortable on the handle. It has two different sizes that comes with this grooming tool. Our favorite is the smaller one; however, you're supposed to use both for max. results.This product is definitely worth the price, and it'll be my recommendation to all pet (not hair) lovers out there. ;)

I purchased this product because I previously owned a "Love 2 Pet" 2 in 1 Multi-Purpose Grooming Tool for Pets - and was six inches wide; appropriate for a horse. The Product Description / Product Dimensions indicated in this listing are totally incorrect. The "dimensions" indicated in the listing would suggest this tool would be appropriate for most pets: including dogs, horses, donkeys, etc. Dimensions listed for this tool are: 10.5 in. x 6 in. x 1.8 in. The "actual" dimensions are: 8.75 in. x "3" in. x 1.5 in. -- with the three (3) inch width the most important, versus the 6 inch in the listing. The tool itself seems appropriate for a dog or cat, and is made well. However, the 3 inch width is not appropriate for a horse; as the 6 inch listing would suggest.

This grooming tool came highly recommended to me and I would like to pass the 5-star recommendation on. It is everything I had hoped for and my long hair cat enjoys my grooming her for the first time ever. Tool is easy to hold while stroking her and "teeth" of groomer are at a good angle and length for maximum hair removal.

I bought this for my cat on my vets' recommendation. This is a life saver! It's much more affordable than other brands but works just as well. I highly recommend it for anyone with a cat or dog who is a heavy shedder!
