purchased this along with the SUNCOO 36" Grooming Table. I set up the table and placed the Haunch Holder on it. I then put my 12 week old Maltese puppy on the table and let him play with the Haunch Holder for a few minutes. Oscar became very comfortable being on the table in just a few short minutes. He just plopped down and played with the Holder. After a few minutes, my wife and I put the holder on him and I gave him a very decent combing. First time I didn't need my wife to hold him still. Oscar didn't let out a peep, a whine, or a cry. The holder kept him standing and I could get to all the areas I struggled getting to with my wife holding him before. I only combed him for about 5 min this first time. I didn't want him to have a bad first experience, so we kept it brief and he did great. I would certainly recomend this product. Easy to use, does what it is advertised to do, seems to be comfortable for the pup. Only one drawback, it does not keep the little guy from turning around, that you have to accomplish by other means, either by holding him still with one hand, or you could possibly use an additional restraint, attaching one end to the neck portion of the holder, and the other end to the arm of the grooming table at a level equal to the pup's haunches. Oscar wasn't that figgity, he stood pretty still this first go at it, so using that option remains open at this time. He's going for his first grooming tomorrow, good bath, detailing those tear stains under his eyes, and a bit of a trim. We're going to keep him in a puppy cut and looking like a little boy, no bows in his hair lol. We'll use the table and holder for general maintenence between hair-cuts at the groomer. Maltese need daily brushing to keep the hair from knotting as well as daily tear-stain attention, and a good bath every 2 to 3 weeks. Hope this review was helpful. Peace to you.

Just what I need because my dog wants to just sit down on me

I bought this to add to a table top grooming table. It was easy to install. It was a little long for what I needed but I just tied it up in a knot to get it to work. Only wish I could figure out how to keep my dog still enough to complete the grooming process. My heart goes out to all the groomers out there. Grooming dogs is a tough job and takes lots of time, skill, and patience.

Where Shih Tzu breeders and let me tell you these puppies and adults love love love love this toy good way to wear my puppies out and they have a blast doing it with purchase again and recommend anybody very durable. Very very terrible good quality and the puppies and dogs respond to it.

Thought this to try and help with grooming, it's probably better on smaller dogs. I have a larger dog and she does not seem to care for it, it's not very comfortable as the cord pulls on her long hair. Also the lead could be longer so it's easier to hook up to stuff if you don't have a functioning dog grooming table. But overall it wasn't okay purchase for the money

With some dogs, if they feel like they may possibly be able to escape, they're gonna keep trying. With this inexpensive device they know they can't get away. It keeps them still so I can cut their hair without mistakes and without struggles! If you groom your own pups, highly recommend!

These are really nice for keeping the pets in place for trimming

This Dog Grooming Arm Restraint worked well to replace the inadequate one that came with our grooming table. Product is durable and the perfect size for our mini golden doodle is who is <20 pounds (medium-size dog) so I'm not sure how well this would work for a large breed. It's adjustable and padded under the neck and body portions. This kept her from sitting or moving around too much and didn't bother her at all during grooming. Happy with purchase and the price.

Product arrived safely and within the estimated delivery time. Good quality product and as described by the supplier. When ordering be careful not to follow some of the automatic links (it looks as though only the one shown is available) however, it comes in different sizes. We have Coton De Tulear dogs (similar size to Bichon Frise dogs) and the restraint fits well (it would also fit smaller or larger dogs). The restraint has some cushioning, so is comfortable for the dog. We had the problem of our dog constantly sitting when being groomed or clipped, have used this product today for the first time and it is excellent for keeping the dog in a standing position. We did not purchase the grooming table top depicted in the suppliers picture -we wanted a free standing table, so opted for one of the smallest we could find; we purchased the "New Portable Folding Dog Cat Pet Grooming Table 76cm x 46cm x 80cm by company KMS, it works brilliantly with this small / medium No Sit Haunch Holder Dog Grooming Restraint and for our size dog. All in all it has made the whole grooming experience so much easier and we would definitely recommend.
