It really does make your whites whiter, I soaked all my white clothes for about six hours in this washed them with a bit of this also and they came out looking brand new. Also gets rid of stains EG curry.

I am not very happy with the result. I got it because I used vanish in italy and never had any problems. But this one doesn't bleach well. You have to put a huge amount of detergent to get the desired results. I certainly would not buy it back. It is not worth the price at which they sell it.
