Delicate yet sturdy design. Beautiful color, reddish mahogany, low sheen. No machining or sanding marks. Perfect finish. Very light. Nice size, not too big like for salad, or serving, but a good size for soup or ice cream. Excellent price. I highly recommend.

I grew up having some wooden spoons used in the kitchen when I was young and then I'm glad I found these again the sturdiness, the quality, the look, the feel are superb and I thought it was a great value for the money . Functionality and the deepness of the spoon is perfect for cooking! I wouldn't recommend using them in the dishwasher as these should only be a hand wash only item.

I have them just for couple of days, but I already like them very much. For me the wooden spoons look all-around perfect by their design, shape (a perfect profile-design from a side view), quality of the wood, usefulness, robustness, bright color, length of their handle (very much enough and even more for big tall glasses), right size & volume of their container, smoothness of wood, quality of the both the grip on their handle and the maneuverability of the spoon (the handle is rounded from front and flat from its rear side which makes is very nice and easy to have both a firm grip on the spoon and a versatile maneuverability of it). Looks as a very good piece of item and a good bargain. Hope the wood remains the same condition even after a prolonged use. Let's wait & see how much scratch and moisture resistant the spoons really are after many years of use.

These spoons are nice but they are made in china not in japan which I thought was the case based on the title. They are a little bit too big for what I want which was to eat oatmeal. I will keep them and make the best of them. I took a picture of one next to a regular spoon for reference.

I haven't used it as yet but it's nice. The quality seems great, the shape is as is on the website. The grip is good. It comes in a pack of six so it's good value for money.

This is my second one third set (I keep losing them). I prefer them over stainless steel spoons. They're perfect for me. The length etc.

These spoons are beautiful. They aren't a fancy hardwood and I don't know how they are finished but the color and finish haven't dulled - and I use them every day and wash them in the dishwasher. They are very useful for stiring in pots, especially non-stick. They don't scrape the surface like metal spoons or melt like plastic ones. They are small enough to use while eating oatmeal but I wouldn't think they would be good for soup.

to be honest, i bought these as more of a novelty more than anything else. i’m one of those people that enjoys food more from pointless stuff like this. that being said, these are good quality and have held up in the dishwasher countless times and show no signs of deteriorating so far. they’re a good size - both the spoon part and the handle length. i was afraid they would be too short or that the spoon part would be too narrow, but they’re perfect~ if you’re considering getting these for any reason, i’d say you can’t go wrong.
