The mounts themselves are of great quality, heavy, and there is virtually no wobble when they are mounted to my desk. Assembly was super easy and’s took only a few minutes. They come with pre-installed HOTAS mounting plates and a more universal set of mounting plates if those ones don’t work for your setup. I don’t have experience with some of the pricier brands of desk mounts, but for this price and quality i don’t think I’ll need to.

The instructions are just okay. Learning how to properly assemble it will take some trial and error. They could have given some suggestions along the way, like mounting your controllers first, or which bolts to tighten first and which to leave for last. Assembling the first one took about 45 minutes. The second took about 25 because I learned from the mistakes I made on the first. Once done, this is a very solid product. Great stability. Puts my Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS right where it needs to be. The mountain recommendation for the Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS is incorrect if you're going to mount them separately as I have. Use the cross bars and there are two threaded receptors on the bottom of each controller. It is enough to solidly mount them. BEWARE: There are SHARP metal edges on these parts. I sliced my knee open pretty good to the point of bleeding profusely for about 5 minutes. No excuse for not rounding these off a little at the factory. Taking off one point of material quality because of this. I'm taking one point off the overall rating because of the lacking instructions and the overall fussiness of assembly, but this is otherwise a pretty solid product. There is abundant mounting hardware included to mount different brands and types of hardware. Solid addition to my gaming rig.

I recently purchased the Hikig 2 Set Desk Mount for my flight sim game setup, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This mounting system is a game-changer for anyone looking to enhance their flight simulation experience. Firstly, the build quality is outstanding. The mounts are sturdy and well-made, providing a reliable and secure platform for my Logitech X56 HOTAS, and are easily detachable by just the simple pulling a lever. I was impressed by the durability of the materials used, ensuring that my expensive flight control peripherals are held in place safely. The set-up was relatively easy, and only took me around ~30 minutes to fully set up both mounts. It's versatile enough to accommodate various setups, and you can easily change configuration if you ever change your HOTAS set-up. What sets the Hikig Desk Mount apart is its stability during intense flight maneuvers. I no longer experience the frustration of my joystick or throttle slipping or wobbling during crucial moments in the game with them just sitting on my desk. The mounts stay firmly in place, providing a realistic and immersive flying experience.

Overall: Very pleased with the HOTAS mount, it took a bit to assemble but once together it feels sturdy, firm, and well secured to my desk while being easy to unclamp and store. The variety of configurations and adjustable position all work great, though it does require you to loosen screws to alter the height/depth this also means that once set it stays put and there's no fiddly knobs or other hardware taking up extra space. Pros: -Very customizable, fits a number of different HOTAS styles and has two different mounting platforms. -Assembly allows for creativity and modification if need be for a wide array of configurations, even upside down to increase height relative to desk instead of the standard lower than desk option. Though for some unorthodox configurations you might need to modify or bandsaw off some of the excess central/vertical column to prevent monitor view block. -Very stable once assembled and tightened up. -Very nice clamping fixture. Cons: -Exact number of assembly bolts/nuts. -Requires assembly(not really a con but some reviewers didn't seem to realize this was the case so mentioning it as both a pro and a con.) -A few washers would be a great addition to help HOTAS like the Saitek X52 which use the slender mounting bolts to better secure to the bar type bracket. The slide nuts would be a perfect fit for this had there been 4 extra to use, but the lack of extra led to me borrowing a few larger nuts from the plate style bracket mounting hardware to use in place of a washer.

Easy to assemble and the sliders let you set it up really easily. The clamps don't have the range I would like but the build quality and functionality are exactly what I needed for star citizen. Came with 2 full plates that have cutouts for a range of joysticks so you can screw them in and not have to worry about stability. Took a bit of assembling, but nothing too difficult, just time consuming. My 15 year son - impatient to fly using the new HOTAS asked me why they send them pre-assembled - guess the answer is simply about cost. Why assemble it and increase cost when the buyer can do it? Was pleased with how sturdy these mounts are - i was a little sceptical before they were fitted. But they stay rock solid even with a teenager using all his strength to try and eek an extra degree of movement out of the flight stick... Recommended if you have just a little patience with the assembly process.

Utilisés avec deux VKB Gladiator en configuration complète, tout tient sans le moindre problème, même en usage intensif. La stabilité et la fonctionnalité sont clairement au rendez-vous. Le principal défaut concerne le design : beaucoup de barres métalliques dépassent, et l’ensemble pourrait être un peu plus compact. Je comprends que la compatibilité avec différents modèles impose certaines contraintes, mais c’est tout de même visible. Les caches en plastique, en revanche, tiennent assez mal et font un peu cheap. Malgré ces points, ce sont d’excellents supports, fiables et robustes.

Und auch der URSA MINOR Airline Joystick L oder R, von WINCTRL (WINWING) passt auf der bereits vormontierten Plattform, auf der Halterung, wirklich mittig und super. Ich habe zur Befestigung des Joystick 2 St. von den mit der Halterung mitgelieferten M5 x 16 Kreuzschlitzschrauben (8 St.), und jeweils noch eine entsprechende Unterlegscheibe aus dem eigenen Fundus verwendet. Hält alles super und sieht auch gut aus. Deshalb von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung, auch für den URSA MINOR Airline Joystick L oder R, von WINCTRL (WINWING).
