I was looking for a reasonably priced and good step down converter for my coffee machine which I purchased from Canada. I tried a couple but this one was the best. The first one I bought was big and bulky and the socket was not good enough as the plug was a loose fit. I ordered another one which was the best looking and sleek but expensive! This was somewhere in between… not too expensive, sturdy plug point and does the job perfectly. It would have been nice if it had a couple of plug points instead of one.

Worst Customer service - Faulty product - no proper response from Customer care even after repeated follow-ups. I bought "AXVOLT Crysta 2000W Step Down transformer 220v to 110v Voltage Converter for US Appliances Used in India" and it did not work. I was directed to register a complaint on their website - but the link said "the owner has removed the form". I tried contacting the number mentioned on 18th Nov. Luck was on my side - someone picked up and said he is outside and asked me to call later. So I sent the details on WA message. I tried calling multiple times from Nov 19th till Jan 5th - but no response at all. On Jan 5th, the person picked up and asked me send pictures of the product, model details, invoice copy and the product that I'm trying to use it with, so that he can send to his technical team. He said he will get back in 2 days. From Jan 7th - no response to call. On Jan 27th, picked up again and asked for same details. Pointed to the details messaged previously. He said will check with Technical team and get back. No response till now. How can a company rely on a single person as customer care - who doesn't respond. Is that even customer care?

Bought it to use the hair straightener brought from United States which was of 1200 Watts.I had another step down transformer which handles only 500w and it was getting heated up quite soon and started looking at higher capacity transformers.This one took the load, did not hear up and is silent.Overall quite assuring and happy with the purchase.If you are looking for a transformer to handle bigger loads, this one will fit perfectly.It feels heavy though but for supporting this much Watts, you need a heavy unit.
