Very convenient & work great
At first I was not sure if I liked these eye masks, as they didn't seem to get warm enough the first time. I've compared them to another eye mask I own, and looked up the temperature they should safely be, and they DO get warm enough. You wouldn't want them so warm that they're unsafe for eyes. They're very convenient in that they're already prepackaged and you can just grab one to use without having to heat it up, like the reusable eye masks I had been using, which are always hard to get the to the temp (warm enough, but not unsafely hot). The reusable masks also need to be cleaned after every use (or use some type of barrier sheet), but these are so much more convenient and you can just pull out a fresh, clean mask each time. They seem a little flimsy, but if they're disposable, you wouldn't want to spend more on a more durable item. They work fine for a single use, and stayed on my face well. Very relaxing on the eyes, and they say that heated eye masks are supposed to help with clogged eye glands and blepharitis. I tried the unscented because I didn't want any type of fragrance to bother my sensitive eyes.

Very Mild- just enough warmth and scent.
As the title says, I was concerned that these may make me nauseous or get too warm. Instead these are my favorite go-to for a really great nap or just to drift asleep peacefully. Theyโre especially comforting and relaxing to use during travel or after a lack of sleep or lots of eye strain. They work similarly to hot hands, which Iโve had get WAY too warm in the past, especially if they had been on my eyes?? It wasnโt a concern with the masks at all. The breathability of them regulates the temperature well and disperses the light scent just enough to feel like youโre being pampered. The scent also doesnโt seem entirely natural (Iโm not sure?), but still doesnโt at all irritate my skin or give me a headache in any way. Itโs in no way โoffensiveโ or overwhelming, in my experience. Some other concerns I had that didnโt come to fruition, for me: - I was concerned that the ear loops would be uncomfortable or not work well. They work fantastically, and feel way less constricting than any given COVID mask. Theyโre made out of a strong but very soft, thin, stretchy material. Barely feel it at all. -I was also concerned these wouldnโt actually block light very well. They arenโt the BEST eye masks Iโve had for that specifically, but theyโre pretty good for single use. They flex pretty well to fit to your face and the warming contents help fill the gaps around my eyes.

A great option for people with severe dry eye syndrome
I had LASIK surgery in 2005, and as I've gotten into my 40s, dryness had become a big problem for me. My optometrist advised that I use a heated compress every day to help keep my myobium glands (the oil glands at the base of the lashes that express a tiny amount of oil with every blink, which keeps the test later of your eyes from evaporating) working well. The problem I ran into with the mask is that, while it's weighted (send to be filled with some kind of coarse sand) and feels good when using it at first, getting the right temperature in the microwave can be tricky (to little Ave it isn't effective, too much and you can burn your eyelids) and the heat doesn't last the full 20 min I'm supposed to use it. Plus, at the end of a long day when I've relaxed before sleep, I don't want to have to get up, microwave the thing, and then come back to bed, just to have to get up in 20 min to put it away. (I tried using it during the day, but it messes with my vision for about 30 min to an hour after use, so that doesn't work for me) I can't across these masks when looking for alternatives, and they are AMAZING! I got the rose scented, and it barely smells, just a light, pleasant scent. The active ingredient starts to heat up as soon as you take it out of the package. I like to shift it around a bit to really get it mixed and activated, but it's not necessary. The ear loops are soft and flexible; pull them away from the mask to stretch them out before wearing. It's rather square, so it isn't light blocking, and you have to manipulate it to cover both eyes. I've been using this mask under the weighted one I was using, and it's perfect. It holds a gentle but intense heart for about an hour! Apply it, lay down and take a nice nap, and when you wake up, your eyes will feel better, and you can just dispose of the mask. I will definitely be purchasing other scents to try then out!

My favorite!
Knocked a star off because Iโve never had a box of these that actually had a scent, though one had a weird chemical smell to it. Otherwise, I love this brand. Super cute with the cat prints and the heat and moisture is perfect for tired and dry eyes. I take them on international trips though Iโm not brave enough to use them on the plane, but they absolutely help my dry eyes. Pretty reasonably priced compared to the Japanese Kao ones, even though they arenโt the cheapest, Iโm mostly sold on the colors and print. Iโve bought maybe 8 boxes (lavender and jasmine) and maybe 1 had the chemical smell while the rest had none of the advertised scents, which doesnโt bother me at all. Love using these in the winter and sometimes pull it over my nose when itโs cold and dry, helps humidify the mucous membrane as well! Iโll continue to buy them anyway, I canโt say they last a long time compared to competing brands, but I would say on average 2 hours depending on the weather and environment, which feels like an adequate time for relief to me.

Really nice to help you get a good night's sleep, won't bother allergies
I like that these last for 45+ minutes. I tried the KAO ones from Japan, and don't get me wrong those are great. But, the material they are made from is quite loose and I've found that it tickles my nose and bothers me while I sleep. And I think that that irritates my allergies because then I sneeze. I also think the heat one those from KAO is less minutes, so it's too quick. So far, I've tried 3 different brands of eye steam mask, this one, the KAO and another Chinese one. Of those 3, I prefer this one the most. I've used the unscented which I prefer, the lavender and rose. I prefer this one for sizing, length of time for the heat, the materials that don't fray on the nose area, and that because it's disposable it's very clean and hygienic. I use it nightly!

Absolutely amazing!
Why didnโt I know about these sooner?? I put one on when I went to bed last night. So much warmth! It was wonderful. I think I fell asleep before the warmth ran out. I believe these are going to give me the relief I need.

No Heat/No Scent/Flimsy Ear Loops
If you want to just block the light, this is ok... It does not get hot and it does not smell like lavender. I asked for product support/a refund and I initially thought Jekeno did not get back to me, but they emailed me at the email address on file with Amazon (Amazon doesn't notify you via their website). I got a full refund. You should be aware that these products are unpredictable and the quality inconsistent. Some people say they smell like petroleum or sulphur but mine had no scent. Some work, some don't. Mine didn't. My customer was annoyed. The expiration date on the box says "2027/01/02" but the effectiveness of the chemicals in the product apparently already expired. I tried 3 masks (one on my client, one on myself, and one on my client's mother) and none of them got hot. Also, the ear loops are flimsy and break easily if you are not careful pulling them out to wrap them around the ears.
