KastKing Fillet Knife, 5 inch Bait Knife

Great knife, nothing wrong with the knife itself, my only "complaint" and I hesitate to use that word is the sheath has no way to attach the knife to anything. There is no clip or belt loop on the sheath. The knife does have a lanyard hole which is handy but it would be nice to attach it somehow while you're out fishing. I bought this for trout fishing so I have to stick it in my chest pocket of my waders which is not a great spot or way to keep the knife. Other than this the knife itself is amazing! Very versatile three part blade, time will tell on the edge retention.

Very sharp, great handle

Is a great knife, I been using it for awhile but unfortunately during one of my fishing trip on the pier the knife sheath gotten blow off the pier by wind and fell into the ocean. I been wanting to get another sheath for it ever since so I email kastking but was told they don’t sell just the sheath. So what am I going to do with the knife now? I can’t take it fishing without a sheath. I really wish they sell me sheath by itself.

Looks great and functionally superior to others around same price. I have used this now on 4 trips - cuts well through braided line as well as frozen sardines.

Very good example of said you get what you paid for although I had high hope it would be sharper than I expected! It looks great but what’s important is how great it works not its look right?! I used it once very cautiously to make a horizontal cut a to a boneless chicken thigh and it acted so very dull‼️ I know it’s specialized for fish but I assumed it’s as sharp as surgeon razor but it was not even close‼️it has a nice sharp pointed tip and one side of blade is indebted perhaps for fish cleaning or fish bone which I haven’t used it but I doubted to be as sharp as it looks like the other side. I was very excited when I received it by looking at it but disappointed using it for first time.
