WARN does it again!
I am an artist specializing in production and large scale set design and often work with moderate to heavy steel and wood. I purchased this winch in order to assist me with various projects In my shop and with instillations for my clients. I recently had a project that required a dead hang lift of three cedar beams with a combined weight of 425 pounds and used the WARN 885000 winch to lift them 12' in the air, no problem for this winch. I did take it slow and didn't press the up button all the way (the one time I tried to speed it up it stopped, waited 10 seconds and it was lifting again, slow and steady wins the race. I like how the winch was constructed and the internal lifting cable was nice and stout. I gave it a 5 star rating, but wished this winch had a remote or even a corded controller so that I could be on the ground when lifting objects when applicable. Would also like to see WARN develop a battery powered winch at that size as well. All in all, great price point, well-built construction, and super light to move around from project to project.

Powerful little winch.
Great little winch. Super convenient to have when you need it. Iโve used it to pull several full size cars up onto trailers. Itโs easy to set up and pulls pretty quick. It has a breaker that can be reset if you get too crazy.

WARN PullzAll is a nice addition to my tools
I purchased this about 6 months ago from Amazon. Didn't want to review it immediately after receiving it. Instead, I wanted to submit a review after 4-5 months of use. I really like this tool! It has good power for its size. It is portable. It pulls slow and steady with fingertip control, which I like. It is rated for a max pull of 1,000. I used it to pull an 8x10 shed about 150 feet to a new location. I estimated its weight to be about 5,000 pounds. It was a level pull and I used rollers. Worked like a champ. Don't rush it or you could overheat the motor. I have also used it for a variety of other tasks with good success. I recommend that you consider this. I would buy it again.

Good item, not the best, but good.
Allows you to do things by yourself, where menial tasks may require 2 people. I was able to move a non-running car into a small space all by myself. In this small space, I was not able to use my truck (equipped with a winch) because there was no room for me to park my truck in between the small space and the broken car. Sure, I could ask a neighbor or two to help push the car, but I have a lot of gravel and cinder on the ground, so it's no easy task. Now for the cons, as the reason why I rated this 4 out of 5 stars. The unit only has a 15' long cable. You will need rope or another strap (with a minimum of 1000 lbs working load limit). 15' is definitely too short. At $180, Warn should've provided a small strap, or extension to this. The other con to this unit is the poor duty cycle rating. If using this to pull 1000 lbs, the duty cycle is 1 min on and 30 min off. If using this to pull 500 lbs, the duty cycle is 2 min on and 30 min off. I used my portable fan to blow on this unit to help cool it off. I don't want to ruin the motor.

This is great. We had to move some huge logs. And it did the trick.

One of the best investment you will make
I bought this winch two years ago. While it has a 1,000 pound rating you have to realize if you are moving a 900 lbs root ball and dragging it up a hill instead of doing a dead lift, you are going to have to give it a rest after a bit to avoid burning out the motor. I have used this unit for so many things I never realized it I would need for. It's super portable, and easy to operate. I had to install a dehumidifier in a crawl space that would have been difficult without his unit (and a dolly). I also moved trees with big root balls into position and to move trees I have cut down for short distances. Have certainly gotten my money worth with some heavy duty uses. I would not grade this as an everyday, commercial product. But great for the homeowner who needs a winch several times a year.

Man! This Electric Wench did exactly what I bought it for! Excellent piece of equipment!
Purchased this Wench for a specific job, moving some large/heavy pieces of lumber about 150 feet. No one was available in my sphere of friends/neighbors, (Would have needed 6-8). After calling a rental place and being scoffed at for such a silly request (an electric come-along) I found it on Amazon and got the job done with very little effort! For what a rental might have cost, the job is done, and now have a nice addition to war-chest of tools!

How do Two Small Women with Big Hearts get a dock out of the water and up a rocky shore?
With a Pullzall of course! And a generator for the power source. We have a duel fuel generator, and use propane power, which is cleaner and easier overall compared to gas. You need straps that you wrap around trees and attach to the back of the pullzall. You also need straps to attach from the dock to the Pullzall hook. We had heavy wool blankets that we threw over the front strap connection in case it came apart, as per the instruction sheet. It was still hard work, but about 150 percent easier than if we hadn't had the Pullzall. The dock had two wheels at the end. To make the job easier, we attached two other wheels at the front of the dock. This is a great tool.

Don't Buy It For UK Use
The winch is ok BUT you'll need a stepdown converter at extra cost to use it in the UK and a plug adapter too. There is no mention of that in the product description and was a significant annoyance and frustration. On top of that the converter came with a short cable as does the winch itself, the latter is far, far too short so I had to buy a USA specified extention. Having to use it with a complex set up is a ball ache.
