AcuRite Iris 06014 PRO+ (5-in-1) Weather Sensor with Rain Gauge, Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Temperature and Humidity

My second one! First had the rain gauge give out after seven years. Very affordable and is very accurate according to the local airport reports. Have the hub, lightning detector, deluxe display and remote battery station (so I don’t have to crawl up a ladder to replace the batteries) was easy to install and handles all weather conditions when properly secured. Great unit and add ons!

Replaced a similar Acurite unit that lasted many years (so long that i can't remember the original purchase). Hard to believe that plastic can last so long

Got it to replace one that i had for 12 years. It's nice that this has Two solar panels for the fan. My old one the data sent was off a lot, and it had lived out on the pole through hailstorms and harsh winters. the new one looks so white. I had forgot just how white they are. I got his at a great price, had to reset my receivers, which is a no brainer. Works very well.

This is to replace an existing one that after about 5 years stopped working. Apparently it's a thing that some component that always goes every few years. They do sell the part as a spare part in America but not in Australia. So you need to buy all new one. Please note that you still have to buy an internal display or another module to do the online side of it.

This weather station has solar panels that need to face south in the northern hemisphere. So if used in the southern hemisphere like Australia, the solar panels need to face north and the indicated wind direction will be out by 180 degrees. Also the solar cooling fan motor sounded a little noisy, but seemed to work ok
