What is BSD9 knife steel, can't say that i have ever heard of it and i cannot find any info on it to be a "military grade premium"

You would have to contact Kovacek directly, we just buy them from a distribution company. The BSD9 is a very hard steel and reliable from all customers who tells us.

It is the Kovacek BSD9 which to my best knowledge is a high carbon ferritic stainless hardened with carbon, chromium and nickel.
