It would not be an overstatement to say that this product has changed my life. My teeth were so badly yellowed and stained that I had not been able to look at them in the mirror for years. To my surprise, these are much improved from the original strips. They really stick to your teeth without any mess, so you can place them where you want without getting any below your sensitive gum line. You can also press them into the sides of your teeth. It is as if they were molded to your teeth. And they really work! Even on horrifying yellow teeth like mine used to be. After the first day, I was able to look at my teeth in the mirror for the first time in years!! I found myself putting on lipstick and smiling! With every day, my teeth have gotten whiter. I have used them for five days now, and am THRILLED with how my teeth look. They are now a very natural nice shade for my age (51). When Whitestrips first came out a long time ago, I bought a pack and was unable to use them because they made my teeth ache when I wasn't wearing them, and gave me sharp pains (the "zings") into the roots of some of my teeth when I was wearing them. It was pretty unpleasant with the first couple of strips, and only got worse the more I wore them so I had to stop using them and just assumed I would not be able to whiten my teeth at all. That was a long time ago, and now that there is a "sensitive" formula, I decided to give it a try- and have been pleasantly surprised. No zings, no sharp pain, and only a little bit of aching that wasn't strong or very noticeable. I took a few days off when I started to feel increased sensitivity after the 7th strip (the halfway mark) and the pain went away and hasn't come back. I'm down to the last strip with no pain and noticeably whiter teeth. It's hard to compare to the regular strength Whitestrips, because I haven't used the latest formulation or completed a full course, but a friend has and his teeth are RADIANT. He said he didn't feel pain and that most of the whitening seemed to show up after the first few uses, and not so much consistently. For me, the whitening has been gradual and not as dramatic as I would hope, but I guess these are the limitations of the sensitive formula. I am happy that there are at least some noticeable whitening effects that I'm happy with and hardly any pain or increased sensitivity. I will say that the whitening is more pronounced on my top teeth than bottom, which are yellower and seem to be more stained. Honestly I don't really care that much as the top teeth are the most visible and all anyone is most likely going to see. I am working on cutting back on my coffee and black tea habit (not only because it stains my teeth), and I'm sure that will help to maintain the whitening effects. I do plan to do another course of this sensitive formula in about 6 months (the recommended amount of time between whitestrips use) once I am done with coffee and have given my teeth a break, to try and get at more of the deeper stains. Overall though, happy to get some pain-free whitening!

It has been a few years since I've used a tooth whitening product, mostly because I dreaded the aftermath iofsensitve teeth and sore gums. I decided to give this Crest 3D kit a try. While it definitely is less harsh than other methods/brands, I still feel some sensitivity as I near the end of the course. I noticed whiter teeth starting on the 3rd day despite these strips not being as strong or as whitening as traditional kinds. You use these over a longer period than you would with other kinds. I love that these stick to my teeth and don't slip around in my mouth during the 30 minutes per day of wear. They even require some effort to get off. Perhaps because these are sold as a "gentle" course, the strips don't have tons of ooze. These work, just not as well as stronger kinds, but the more gentle formulation is easiest on the teeth and gums. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Last time I tried whitening my teeth was several years ago. The process was maddening and painful. The strips were a pain in the arse to handle, get onto my teeth and when I did finally mange to, it hurt like hell for days after. I've always had sensitive gums and teeth so I figured I would never be able to whiten my teeth. I decided to get brave and give these a try and I am SO glad I did! I'm only about 5 days into the box and I am relieved to say that the process has been night and day. The strips are super easy to put on and stick well. The material kind of reminds me of a thicker press and seal material (aka the best cling wrap ever made). I was very nervous about it hurting but so far I have only had minimal soreness after the first two treatments. I changed to doing them only every other day and that's solved all my sensitivity issues. It wasn't all that bad though to begin with. So far the results have been surprising! After even just once treatment I noticed a subtle difference. I had yellowing on my teeth from years of tea drinking and the yellow was at least one shade lighter. Now onto treatment #6 today and the yellowing is at least 1/2-3/4 the way gone. Amazing! I think by the time I am done I am going to be really pleased with the final result. Unfortunately I didn't take any good before pics, but suffice to say this stuff does make a difference if traditional whitening treatments don't work well for you. The only con is that I wish the lower strip was longer like the top. It says in the instructions not to switch them, but I honestly can't see why it would matter other than unneaven whitening. I have alternated placing the bottom strop slightly off to one side before as well to try to even out my bottom results. That seems to work pretty good when I alternate which side I do that on, then back to center. I will definitely be buying these again.

These are truly so much better than the regular whitening strips! I've done the regular twice (because I'm a coffee lover) during the past few years and my teeth get so sensitive that eating and drinking is uncomfortable. But I'm stubborn and refuse to waste a product I paid $30+ for. Instead of using the strips every day like it says I was doing it twice a week. That worked better and I wasn’t as sensitive. With these, I haven't had to worry about it because I've hardly had any sensitivity at all. I still only do them every other day just in case. They are thicker and a little different but still whiten the same. I don't usually use the upper and lower strips for the upper and lower teeth, I instead use almost all of them for my upper teeth. With my smile my bottom teeth are hardly seen so I don't bother much with them. I'll use a few to make sure there's not a big color different but like I said they aren't really seen. This actually works out really well! For instance, let's say you were to get a "14 strip" box. You would receive 14 sets of upper and lower strip applications, which is 28 separate strips to use. I personally would use 20-22 for upper, therefore getting more product for a smaller package.

First time using these. Not bad. I usually have problems with teeth getting way too sensitive using strips. I never use them the entire time. These say 30 minutes but I'm paranoid and only used them for 15 minutes. Just finished the first treatment and haven't had sensitivity problems or the dreaded "tooth stab" pain you get from whiteners. So far so good. I think it boosted my shade up a bit but nothing drastic. I did see mild improvement. I am an obsessive coffee drinker (4 cups a day minimum) and only did half treatment so I'd say that for an average person who doesn't drink too much coffee or smoke/ uses the full 30 minutes, you will see results. I'm going to purchase another box and do the full 30 minutes. Will update to 4 stars if there is no sensitivity issues upon using 30 minutes and teeth noticeably whiter. Edit: Tried 30 minutes for the first time and had moderate sensitivity. I will go back to 15 minute treatments. The sensitivity lasted 3 days. Not worth it at all. My teeth have gotten whiter with just 15 minutes per treatment so it shouldn't be a problem.

this product works 100% by week 2 using daily your teeth will be white or mostly white. use the whole box by the end you will have that dreamy smile. if your teeth are really bad you may need to use 2 boxes. it whitens evenly. the only problem is it takes a little practice to apply these. day 1 i wasted 4 strips trying to get it on properly. if it sticks to the inside of your lips first you will salivate a lot and the strip will slide around all over and not properly stick to your teeth. if that happens dont get frustrated. the product does work you just have to physically move your lips and inner cheeks and everything out of the way so the strips get applied directly to your teeth on the first go.
