I live in the desert and I NEED my AC! I am at risk of heat stroke. I have been driving around with hardly any air flow and barely cool air coming out of my vents for a year and a half. I thought I needed my AC charged which of course, you can't do on these new Dodge trucks because Dodge, in their infinite wisdom, decided to make that impossible unless you can afford an $18,000 machine to do it. So what used to take me 5 minutes and $15.00 to do, now costs $1,000.00 (Yep, that's what I said) because I have to take it to the Dodge dealership to have it done. Uh, no! Not doing it. Not losing my truck for a week in the service bay and paying $1,000 to charge my AC. Then I came across this hack on Youtube and they said that I could find this part on Amazon. So, I thought, what the heck. I've got nothing to lose. So, yes, for 20 bucks, I fixed my AC. Turns out, it didn't need to be charged. I just needed this adapter. I needed to bypass the heat that was coming through the line to the heater core and running along side the cool air (Stupid Dodge people and you know who else, who are designing these vehicles). And of course, I needed to change my cabin filter too, so that I would have good air flow. I now have powerful and cold AC! And just a side note, I'm female and this took me all of 10 minutes, so you can do it gals!

This kit returned my 2021 Ram back into an ice cold cabin! Easy to install but removing the stock hose was a bit of a challenge. This product is a money saver! Thanks Muzzy!!!

Cannot say how amazing this product is. I've had my 2019 Ram 1500 since it was new and the AC has always been mediocre. Took it to the dealership and they said that's just how it is. Checked the refrigerant, always good. Not until installing this product did I feel how the AC should have been this whole time! So happy with this attachment. And took like 15 mins to install.

It’s a very noticeable difference for your AC. I installed this today on my 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 5.7 Hemi non-ETorque. It’s not gonna make your AC Ice Cold like other vehicles but does drop the temp quite a bit. The install was fairly easy, but the provided hose diameter is small so it takes a bit on man handling and tight grip strength to get the hose to attach to the provided ball valve and the factory hose. You will loose some coolant during install so I recommend having a pan to catch the coolant that drains. You won’t loose a lot of coolant but I went and bought more and topped off the reservoir just to be safe. Defiantly worth the $22!

I’m in Australia so I had to cut the heater pipe as our steering column is in the way , but it worked out well, nice cold ac

This is best $30 you will spend and your air conditioning is way too cooler. Esay to install
