I haven't even received this tool yet (today) and I already know it's gotta be great! I have an older Q-SEE surveillance 16 camera unit with all those BNC's crowded together -- and my fingers hurt. You gotta torque those connectors clockwise to lock them on, but you can't. I usually can only get 1 of my fat fingers in. Too darn crowded in there! This tool will be a real gift. Thanks. OK, now I've used it x16 times in a VERY tight BNC place, and I did think that it would match up better mechanically wise, but it uses friction to 'hold on' and it's GOOD ENOUGH to do the job. Only thing is, if you push it on hard enough to get the connector going and tighten it up CW, then be prepared to yank it back off because it will want to stay attached. Works better than fingers, for sure. Just don't yank your device off and onto the floor. Whoops!

A handy tool for my toolbox. Unfortunately is does not work on most on the CCTV camera connectors as the plastic cable housing is larger than the BNC bayonet so the tool will not slide over the plastic to engage the rotating part of the connector lock. It works perfectly for all normal BNC connectors just not molded CCTV camera cables.

I have a component that has many BNC connections very close together in 2 rows. There is not enough space to push and turn the BNC connector with my fingers. It is impossible to get to the bottom row and very difficult to access the top row. I thought there must be a tool to access these connectors. I chose this one and it works perfectly. I chose the compact tool because it is short since I don't have a lot of maneuvering room. The tool is very well made and it completely solved my problem with connecting and disconnecting.

After having a dozen BNC extraction tools ranging from $8-$75 this one is by far the best I have used. The tactile rubber grip helps to keep a hand on it in hard to reach places. This is now my go to in my toolkit and behind the equipment racks.
