Great Quality
I was replacing an old goal and the existing clips matched up perfectly. Installation was very simple.

Missing parts and Customer Service severely lacking
Purchased the SPALDING Universal Elevator Mount and the SPALDING 54" performance acrylic backboard and rim combo. Despite these products being compatible per SPALDING, the provided hardware to attach the backboard to the elevator mount was too large and the proper size was NOT PROVIDED. No problem, just contact SPALDING support, right? Was told "you need to send an email with pictures that we will then send to our Product Development Team. This could take 5-7 business days". I then waited 8 business days, still no answer from the Product Development Team. "They are still working on it." The customer service agents at SPALDING have clearly never actually constructed one of these hoops and are unable to answer even the simplest questions. Pair this with unprofessional customer service agents (intentionally hanging up on you when you get understandably frustrated) and you're in for a very poor experience. AVOID purchasing this product. The assembly instructions are severely lacking as is the customer service. SPALDING is aware of this and simply doesn't care.

Scratches all over backboard.
Do not buy this item. Backboard came in all scratched up. Worst acrylic backboard ever. Noticed it after I ripped off the plastic during install.

Brackets missing
I can not set this item up with the Spalding Elevator mount because it is missing the appropriate brackets to do so. Please help me fix this issue.

Will not attach to 4in square post
The backstop is nice however the included hardware does not attach to a 4in square post. Since I cant attach it to the post its now just a decoration on the floor in my garage.

different product than manual, incompatible w/ spalding mounts
as others have noted, the backboard is incompatible with spalding’s elevator mount. the weird part about this is the manual shows a different product that is compatible. super strange and not at all ideal

Spalding does not resolve incompatible backboard and elevator issue.
54" Backboard did not properly attach to the Spalding Universal Elevator as advertised. The elevator risers were spaced 4 inches apart and included 4 inch spacers, but the brackets on the backboard were spaced 2 inches apart. The included 7 inch bolt allowed the backboard to slide to either side whenever there was a ball hitting the backboard. Totally insecure and unsafe.
