Direct Replacement for Cut Cable
Same as the original cable, but a little longer. Took about 10 minutes to install and test. (Hint - make a note of the way the original cable loops round in the handle - a photo on your phone will help). Cable fitted and tested perfectly. Having a moulded plug retains the same safety factors as the original regarding moisture ingress and termination of wires. 'Flymo' in the description gives confidence that it is a quality cable. Quick delivery and top quality. Definitely recommended.

Great if you cut through the hedge trimmer lead!
Well yep, just what the family member did, cut straight through the lead! No worries, replacing with this lead is an easy job, provided you have some small screwdrivers and wire cutters. This new lead works as well as the other one, and good value. If you need to know how to rewire your trimmer, youtube has some good videos...

Good hedge-trimmer replacement power chord.
Good Good length, 2 core, hedge-trimmer replacement 12m power chord. Neat sealed mains plug too. Just the Job. (Why did I need it? 3 times we have accidentally cut the old cable! What a dangerous thing to do! I searched for armoured cable but found none. It would be a good product. Just armour the first 2.5 metres, that would keep us safe.)

I looked everywhere online to find out if this cable was suitable for a 1600w Flymo easistore 380r. The product info says suitable for some lawn mowers. I couldn’t take the risk of fitting it and it not being powerful enough. Hence, I will have to return it
