This product works, it’s amazing! Tedious but with patience you get great results. I did it myself which wasn’t easy but very doable. Use a towel to protect your skin because it will irritate it a little. I blow dried it best I could, it took a long time. It didn’t feel completely dry because the chemical really binds your hair but I did the best I could. It is stinky when you dry it and stinkier when you flat iron it but worth all of it. My hair was super frizzy from top to bottom and bushy when I blow dried or air dried it. It’s so silky smooth and healthy looking now. I’m definitely buying again. Since using I’ve blow dried and air dried and it’s still very silky smooth. I love this product.

The Katina Steigner treatment is AMAZING for the cost! ✨ My hair is naturally really curly, and after using this treatment I ended up with soft waves and a much smoother texture with barely any extra straightening. I honestly loved the results. Pro tip for anyone doing this strengthener at home: • After applying the product, leave it on for about 15 minutes like the box says. • Comb the product through your hair to spread it evenly. • Blow dry your hair in sections until completely dry. • Then flat iron your hair using VERY small sections. The trick is in the ironing process: Pass the flat iron slowly from the roots down to the middle and ends about 8 times total, but keep the iron moving the whole time — don’t stop on the ends because too much heat can damage them. On the last pass, glide through the ends a little slower just to seal everything smoothly, then release. Once you finish your whole head, let your hair cool down for a few minutes. After that, wash it with the shampoo and conditioner included, then let your hair dry naturally so you can really see the results. My curls turned into soft waves, my hair feels smoother, and I barely had to straighten it afterward. Honestly so impressed with the results for the price 🤍

Left my hair super smooth, shiny and straight. I had to use 2 boxes because I have back length curly 3b hair. I took the boxes to a salon and had them put the treatment on me. The keratin treatment is high quality and does a really good job, even my hairdresser was shocked and impressed. I have curly hair so I didn’t think it was going to be so straight but I look like an entirely different person. Amazing!

I just want to start off by saying, YES, the product really works! Very well. HOWEVER! LOL I have very course, thick/long hair that goes a few inches past my lower back and boy, when I tell you I was not prepared for the work it took. If you have hair like mine, it’s crucial to section off your hair into four in each of the main steps. It will be near impossible to work with it when you’re doing the blow drying process if not. When the straightener cream goes in and you start the blow dryer, it will get very tangled if you’re not careful because the cream makes it very difficult to work with. It’s not a silky process, more like sticky and tangled. When I finally got it dry enough to straighten (took over an hour), I was pretty surprised to see how the straightener turned the sticky mess into silk. The fumes that come off your hair might make you gag during the straightening process. I had to step out of the bathroom at times. I used the whole bottle though. Others may not need the entire thing and it may not be as severe. Either way, my hair gained a few inches as it’s naturally course and wavy and the product makes it much more manageable, and loosens up your waves or curls. Be careful letting the cream touch your skin, and do not apply at the roots. After all was said and done, I’d probably pay for the process next time because it was treacherous doing it myself, but the results DID NOT LIE!

Overall very happy with results of this, but it's not without its pain points. I have used this kit twice now. It gradually loses its luster but it was probably about the 3 month mark when I felt like it was time to redo it. It's not as good as the formaldehyde formula keratin treatments of the past, but of course that chemical needed to go. Application is easy but the comb through step is pretty much impossible. I did this with a very wide toothed comb and it was still a struggle. It would never work with a standard comb. Blow drying the cream into the hair takes a long time and feels quite daunting. Some spots never do feel totally dry. After it has been washed out, the hair smells pretty funky....literally kind of like something dead, but only when wet, for a few weeks. It smells fine when dry. As far as results, they are great but this will depend on your goals. I have long, fine, curly hair. It is squirrely and my natural curl pattern is inconsistent in different areas and just never looks nice when I try to wear my natural curls. I've tried EVERYTHING to love my curls and ultimately just never have. As a result, I have been straightening my hair daily since middle school (I'm 41 now!). I have to blow dry, which anyone with curly hair knows results in a large poof ball on your head. Then, I would flat iron to get a smooth, straight look...every. single. day. I was so tired of having to use two tools every day to get my hair presentable, and then also having to pray it didn't get wet, or the air wasn't humid, etc. This treatment has loosened my curl to a beachy, fun wave texture. I can let it air dry and it has NO frizz and just the waves. If I don't want to air dry, I can literally just blow dry it without even using a brush and just raking my fingers through, and it dries straight and fluffy but not frizzy. I can use a round blow dryer brush if I want a more polished look, but in no circumstance do I need to flat iron. It's like a dream come true for my inner fuzzy haired middle school girl. It's amazing to be able to go swimming or just walk into the store in a light rain without having to worry about what my hair will do afterwards. I reapplied when I started noticing more frizz, and the curls starting to tighten back up (around 3 months). Because I am putting WAY less heat on my hair, it has been growing like crazy since it's not breaking off so much. My hair stylist, family members, and people at work have all commented about how long my hair is getting. I have not been able to grow it this long for many years.

I am so happy I tried this! I finished chemotherapy about 8 months ago, and when my hair grew back, everything except the very front came in SUPER curly, which was really hard to manage after a lifetime of having silky straight hair - not to mention that having two different textures on the same head is pretty hard to style! After months and months of spending untold hours flat-ironing the majority of my hair to match the front, only for it to curl right back up the second I stepped out into the humidity or perspired at all, I decided to give this product a try. IT WORKED! I followed the directions exactly, and after the whole process was complete (including the second shampoo and subsequent conditioner), I decided to let it air dry, just to see how well it "took." OMG it's straight again! I'm THRILLED. A couple of notes: 1) I didn't find the smell of the product to be too bad, but the fumes are definitely toxic, as I accidentally inhaled at the exact moment that a plume of steam was coming off the flat iron, and I'm still coughing an hour later. Yikes! So be more careful than I was. 2) I may have gotten such great results because my hair texture was still very fine, even though it grew back curly after chemo. I didn't/don't have the coarse texture typical of a lot of curly hair. 3) My hair did NOT lighten by one shade like they warn you about in the instructions, but my hair was completely virgin (I haven't dyed or done anything at all to my "new" hair before this), so that may be the reason why. But whatever the reasons for my terrific results, I am 100% satisfied! Yay!

First: THIS WILL TAKE ANY COLOR HAIR DYE OUT OF YOUR HAIR . IF YOU HAVE COLORED HAIR, BUY THE COLOR SAFE ONE. My curl/wave pattern is a mixture of 2c wavy and 3A curly. My hair is also super dry and gets frizzy easy. If I am wearing MY HAIR straight I absolutely have to blow dry it and straighten it(and use tons of anti-frizz products. And on the days that it rains or it is humid outside my hair gets super frizzy and puffy. So living in Georgia where we have very humid summers typically during the summers I have to wear my hair pulled back, or curly with a good cast to keep it from getting puffy, bc no amount of frizz ease or moisturizing hair cream helps. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO JUST WASH MY HAIR AND LET IT AIR DRY, OR ONLY WASH AND BLOW DRY. This product has SAVED me so much time. My hair feels healthier than it has ever felt It is so soft and shiny. And I can literally wash my hair brush it and go and when it dries it is still straight and not poofy/frizzy. So far it has been about 3 weeks and my hair is still amazing! For those who said it didn't work I fully believe they did not follow the instructions and do it properly. It is a long process but if you do it properly I promise you you will achieve the results that you want. The longest part of the process is blow drying your hair after you put the treatment in. After you put the treatment in let it sit on your hair for the amount of time that it tells you which is I think like 20 minutes. After that section your hair and use a very fine tooth comb and comb your hair in sections and get the excess treatment out with the comb. Every time you comb your hair you have to use a towel to get the excess off of the comb, You want to get as much excess out of your hair as you can before you start to blow dry it ,Don't worry if you don't think you've got out enough of the excess treatment, It's fine it will just take you a little longer to blow dry it in. You want to do this in a very well ventilated area, If you don't have big ventilated areas you can do it in you can do it in a small area however I would definitely suggest taking a fan and opening a window and having the fan set up to where it sucks all of the air from inside of the room that you're in and blows it out the window. The blow drying step would be better if you had someone to help you only because depending on how thick or long your hair is it can take a while. It took me about 2 hours to get it dry (no breaks) because it has to be completely dry before you start the straightening phase. I really think people are not letting get all the way dry before they straighten it and that's probably why it's not working as well. So if you have another person that can help you I would suggest it My husband ended up coming again helping me so my arms could take a break. Also do not put anything else in your hair Do not try to put no heat protectant in or any additional conditioners. Once your hair is completely dry that's when you're going to straighten it. I put my flat iron on 450 (typically I only have it at 350 whenever I flat iron my hair) Now, This is an important step because if you do not straighten your hair properly, the treatment may not work as good. Instead of flat ironing my hair the way I normally would which is just three or four sections I actually sectioned it off to smaller sections that way I could really focus on each section. Also you're not going to hold your straightener on each section like some people do when they're straightening their hair and they hold it for a few seconds before they move it down, your going to do medium passes (not fast passes but not too slow bc if you go really slow you risk heat damage) but you're going flat iron each section, with about 10 passes so make sure you really get that treatment to work. My hair is medium thickness. The front of my hair comes down about an inch below my collarbone and the back of my hair comes down to about 2 in above my bra. I used to dye my hair a lot and I would need three boxes of dye. The amount of product that comes with one box of this treatment was plenty and I still had some left over. If you have some stubborn areas of your hair, Where you feel like the treatment didn't work as good You can always use the treatment you have left over and only put it on that one area blow dry it and Let it sit for 20 minutes and flat iron it. Instead of doing your entire head again. (It has a 6 month shelf life after open). However, If you do have long hair I would suggest buying two just to make sure you have plenty. I have fallen in love with this product so much that I have been telling everyone about it! I was not paid for my review I bought this product with my own money after doing research myself on something that will help with my poofiness and my frizz.

Easy to use (slightly tedious with blow drying and waiting but not difficult). It does not take off color (like how i seen in another review)- my highlights are still perfectly fine. Makes your hair very soft.

Didn't totally straighten my hair, but it took alot of curly out.

If you are thinking about purchasing this product don’t wait!!! I love it. I’ve used many other products but they were either so expensive or not good enough. I followed each step on the manual carefully. Additionally I kept the keratin mask over a night and ironed again then washed it. The result is amazing. My hair was damaged but now it is very shiny, very smooth and straight. My sister used the mask without prewash shampoo and the result is the same. Definetly recommended!

المنتج اكثر من رائع ترددت قبل ما اشترية كثير بسبب التعليقات بس جبتو واتبعت التعليمات بحذافيرها وظبط بيهدي النفشة تماما ويبين الشعر صحي ويفرد بس نسبة بسيطة وطريقة الاستخدام اني غسلت شعري مرتين بالشامبو الفي كيس ونشفتة بالمنشفة وبعدها بالسشوار وخليته مرتب وبعدها قسمت الشعر إلى ٨ أجزاء وبدأت بوضع الكريم على الخصلة قبل الجذور بأقل من سنتي ومع التمليس بيغطي الشعرة تقريبا من الجزور بعد تخلصي سيبوه ربع ساعة وبعدين مشطو لشعركم عشان تشيلو زيادات الكريم انا مشطت بمشط سنونو ضيقة عشان اشيل الكريم من غير ما اغسلو وبعدين استخدمو الشوار ونشفو المنتج على شعركم بالشكل التريدونة بالنهاية وبعدين عيدو على الخصلات بالمكوة ودرجة الحرارة حاطينها لكم في الورقة التيجي مع المجموعة عيدة على كل خصلة ٣ او اربع مرات وبعدين انتظرو عشر دقايق الشعر يبرد وغسلوة وبعدها دايم استخدمو منتجات خالية من السلفات انا استخدمتو بنفس الطريقة والنتيجة طلعت خرافية ومافي تساقط صرلي اسبوعين إلى الآن اتمنى اكون فدتكم
