my dog has seasonal allergies and thus scratches a lot! I've started her on Omega 3 food supplements as these allergies are connected to the dry air from indoor AC. I also give her antihistamines twice a day; until the Omega 3 kicks in I started using the mousse (shes not a fan of baths, sprays or wipes) I can put the mousse on my hand and come up behind her and rub it all over her itchy skin. She never sees it coming and it works INSTANTLY! There is a very very mild scent so it doesn't smell like medicine, it dries quickly. She's a pitbull so her fur is very short. Not sure how long it would take to dry on longer fur. But I'm going to keep this on hand. Go with the mousse so you can sneak it onto them!

Douxo S3 Calming Mousse is helping my pitty with all of his stubborn skin allergies. I was originally introduced to the Douxo line following an expensive emergency vet trip, resulting in receiving the antifungal version (pads) which alleviated many skin issues. This mousse is aiding in bug bites, hot spots, rashes, etc. My dog is 55 lbs and does not enjoy his feet being touched especially knowing that I know, he licks between his toes until they're raw if I don't catch him. I was praying that this mousse would be easy and FAST in absorbstion, otherwise the product is wasted and ineffective. This stuff is light, airy, and does not have any medicinal odor. It feels soft and clean as it dries down, as I tested on my wrist to get an idea. I'd imagine it's very soothing, my dog did amazing with just me pumping a few pumps of the foam directly into my own palm and kinda just smooshing it down on top of his feet, which allowed to address between the toes and around his nails. He paid little mind to the application, the pump bottle is similar to common mousse dispensers but is not aerosol. I appreciate the slim bottle it comes in, very easy to hold and dispense with one hand while wrangling your pet. It is light, clean without a cast, low-tack if at all, effective upon first use, and available without the pricey script through a vet. So thankful for taking an almost $2,000 hit in vet bills to discover this line😩. Honestly, it was the difference between my dog being put on prednisone or meloxicam to stave off all of his weird and aggravating skin issues. Sadly the cost was horrendous, but I came across something that I can honestly share with others out there dealing with finicky "is it this, or that", type scenarios. It will save you tremendously, very thankful for this product line. Anything from skin allergies to fungal/mange maintenance, worth its weight in gold!

I use this mousse on the areas that bother my dog the most, and it’s been really helpful for her skin. It’s easy to apply and works well as part of her routine, especially when used alongside medicated baths. I’ve noticed it helps calm her itching and keeps her skin more comfortable between washes. It also seems to support her skin as it recovers from treatments. Overall, it’s been a useful addition for managing irritated skin and keeping my dog more comfortable.

Works well and helps with itching. My vet recommended this. It smells great. Wish it weren't so expensive.

LIFE SAVER!!!! My dog has terrible allergies he’s already taking apoquel daily. We live in Houston and he loves to run in the grass which increases his episodes. The itching was driving me crazy, I used to get the orange bottle version and now I realize why it never worked. After ONE USE his itching stopped and hasn’t come back in 24hrs. If you have an itchy pup this will do the trick.

I can’t express how much relief this has brought my dog over the past few weeks. I have a one year-old boxer, who, from the age of like six months started having really bad skin, allergies that were completely environmental. I live in South Louisiana, so everybody is affected by seasonal environmental allergies, including our dogs. Anyway, my previous boxer did not have this severe of issues and I didn’t know what to do because getting shots at the vet are way too expensive and without thinking about it, we ended up getting her a shot around six months old because it was really bad and now we don’t qualify for dog/pet insurance as her allergies are now listed as pre-existing. Anyway, sorry for the rant, but I came across this product in my online research and decided to try it. The photos, I don’t think really do it justice, but the before, and after are wild to us who see a daily. We will continue to keep this in our house and use it! We definitely recommend trying this.

My Pit bull, Staffy, Boxer mix has incredibly sensitive skin. Around spring she gets itchy and rashes. After going to the vet and opting out of allergy shots, they recommended the shampoo which worked great! Then I found the mousse. I use the mousse every day between washes. I put four pumps in my hand and spread it over her sides, back & belly. She actually stands still for it, so I know it’s soothing! It’s a bit pricey, but worth it compared to vet bills & avoiding allergy shots!

Vet said get this product, easy to use, smells good, but even though the bottle has a top, the liquid leaked out, probably lost 1/3 of it. It was only in a small plastic bag, not strong enough to hold the bottle in place when shipped.

Excelente producto, a mi perrito le funciona bastante bien, por lo regular en esta época del año tiene bastante resequedad y marcas en el pelaje pero hemos estado realizando baños con la espuma en los últimos 4 meses y hemos visto la diferencia con el año pasado

It does work but make sure you apply 3 times daily in the beginning especially if out walking. I use with their shampoo too.
