Works perfect, easy to use

I originally bought a much cheaper cable tester thinking I was saving money. In hindsight, that was a mistake. The tester technically worked, but I never had much confidence in the results, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of testing cables in the first place. I eventually bought this Klein tester, and the difference was obvious. It just works. The results are easy to understand, and I don't find myself second-guessing whether the tester is right or wrong. The documentation deserves a special callout. It's clear, well written, and actually explains what the different results mean. That's surprisingly rare these days and made troubleshooting much easier. I've used it while tracking down Ethernet wiring issues around the house, and it's been reliable every time. It gave me confidence that when it reported a problem, the problem was actually in the cable and not in the tester. If you're debating between a bargain-basement tester and this one, my advice is to skip the first purchase and buy this from the start. The money saved on a cheaper unit wasn't worth the frustration.

Test muy completo y con capacidad de sestear tiradas de hasta 80M en Cat6 y 60M en cat5e. Tiene todo lo necesario para la comprobación del cable y el correcto funcionamiento. Indica si existe un fallo de contacto en alguno de los terminados o si se ha colado más de un hilo por 1 solo conducto,también informa de hilos cruzados o de una cable con diferente estándar por lado ( tipo crossover) sin olvidaste de la comodidad de comprobar desde una sola hubicacion el testing status del cada cable en cuestión. Buena herramienta electrónica,ahora esperemos q siga siendo fiable por años.
