Snap'y Fit Food and Water Bowl

This Midwest Homes for Pets Snap’y Fit Water & Food Bowl works great in my dog’s crate. The stainless steel bowl with holder is high quality, has a nice weight and is very durable. It was easy to attach to the crate with the included clamp and screws. When the bowl is properly placed in the holder, the bowl will not flip or tilt spilling water as others have experienced. As soon as I attached the bowl to her crate my dog entered and immediately began drinking water. I found the bowl easy to remove from the clip even with a little water still remaining in the bowl. There was mention of the two stickers being difficult to remove. The outside sticker came off in two pieces and the inside sticker came off completely intact in one pull. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and recommend this product.

This is exactly what I needed. My 33 year old African Grey decided after all these years she needs to flip the old metal bowls that sit in the metal ring up and out of the metal ring to the bottom of her cage. Well finding these is a perfect solution to our problem. These stay clipped in nice and tight. Perfect except for one very frustrating side note. The labels the put on the bowls are almost impossible to remove. I had to soak the bowls in hot soapy water for hours the be able to scrape them off with my finger nails. What a pain in the a**. Why would the manufacturer use such an aggressive glue on a label put inside a food or water bowl that they know we need to remove before use? The product itself is outstanding .. the labels are horrible.

Seems well made and will give my dog Max space in his crate. I knocked off a star because the stickers are next to impossible to remove. I spent 2 days soaking and a scrubbing and finally got the one on the inside bottom to come off. Still working in the one on the outside. Seriously, there have to be less frustrating glue products that could be used. Edit/Update - This bowl is working out very well. Our crate has two doors, and I attached it to the one the dog does not use to get in and out. That way I can open the door with the bowl for easier access to fill it. I have found that if I carefully align the rim of the bowl with the slots on the frame, and gently rotate the bowl into place, I can minimize any spillage. I just have to be careful closing the door again. But... the sticker on the front is still stuck!

The metal used for this is strong and solid. I don't think it's going to ever bend. The hardware that attaches it to the cat condo bars is strong and doesn't shift so the water doesn't knock out. I think it holds about a cup and a half of water. The bowl is thick and has a good weight to it--not thin or flimsy at all. You can pop it out of the holder and then put it in the dishwasher for cleaning or hand wash it so it's pretty easy to clean. I feel like my cat's water will be a lot easier to keep clean because it has a mirror-like quality to it too so you can see if there are any hairs or specks of anything in the bowl. I highly recommend this bowl in particular for a crate or cat condo. No more litter trailed into the water since this bowl is raised off the floor of the crate. I highly recommend this product!

Great Product! Literally, installed in seconds....Holder works exactly as described in listing. Needed something to feed new puppy in her crate that was "spill proof." Does the job wonderfully!

Very sturdy! A little smaller than I thought they were going to be but I just use them for food instead of water like a wanted. Definitely will buy the 8 cup bowls for water though!

These bowls definitely snap and fit, and they attached to my dog's crate easily. The issue is that the bowls are extremely difficult to "snap" in properly and they are so snug that if you have water or food in them it will spill all over the place! I settle for setting them on the top, and not snapping them in. Then, they are not as secure, but still provide a raised eating/drinking environment. I clean my pet's food and water bowl daily, so I am constantly snapping them in and out of the holder. It doesn't get any easier. There has to be a better bowl somewhere. Pros: Stainless steel, good size for my 31 lb pup, easy to clean. Cons: Terrible to remove to fill with water or food on a regular basis.

Looks like they updated the stickers! I got my bowl anticipating the issue with the impossible to remove sticker that was mentioned in EVERY review...but had no issue! The INSIDE sticker came off easily in one piece with zero residue left inside the bowl I suggest peeling it slowly. The exterior sticker is still hard to remove and I couldnt get it all off, but at least the inside one has been changed!
