Best Keyboard/combo for the money!
Besides being one of the least expensive keyboard/mouse combos around both units are truly plug and play. They can be used independently or in combination. I tried them out on my MacBook Pro and my Acer Chromebook without a hitch. Only issue is that F keys are apparently not programmable. Other keys and buttons are very responsive. Nice not to have to worry about batteries! Cap letter lite works fine. The all plastic keyboard is very light and portable, but hard to keep from slipping a bit while typing. Good to have the mouse as a backup, but Iโm still leaning on my touchpad โespecially with my Macbook. Tech support from the distributor, Deerbrook, is always quick and responsive.

Great Keyboard and Mouse
I purchased this keyboard and mouse combo to go with my new computer. I bought them because I didn't realize my computer already came with a keyboard and mouse, but I am glad now that I bought this combo. I found that the one that came with my computer did not have the 6-pack of insert, delete, page up, page down, home, and end, and I really needed to have those keys. It also had an extra key in between control and the windows key, so I switched that one out for this one. I am glad that I bought this combo set, because it is much easier to use and has the standard keyboard keys with the six keys for those functions. It also has buttons to control media at the top that are actual little oval buttons instead of keyboard keys so you don't accidentally press them while typing, but you can have them to use to control video and audio playback. It was lighter than my other one too, and it does not have rubber on the bottom to keep it from sliding like the one that came with me computer, but it was worth switching to this one for the layout and extra keys that it had.

Great keyboard & mouse combo for the price
Both worked straight out of the box. Surprisingly, the media keys on the keyboard also worked with regards to volume, mute, next/last track, etc. The key action is very nice and the mouse tracks well. However, each item has a couple of quirks. The keyboard has no "Windows" key (remember how to use Ctrl+Esc for this?) and indicator lights for NumLock, CapsLock & ScrollLock are hard to tell apart since they have tiny embossed letters the same color as the background material. The forward/backward side buttons on the mouse are reversed - they work, they're just the opposite of any other mouse you've ever used. Also, the DPI button provides no feedback at all when pressed. I'm not a gamer, so I don't really care but those who are should be advised.

Excellent product, excellent customer service!
UPDATE: Customer service contacted me and offered me a replacement for the malfunctioning mouse, they delivered the whole combo in 2 days, plugged in the new mouse and it works perfect!! I would say if you have a problem with your product contact them first, they'll solve your issue! Thank you Kristy!! --- The keyboard is great, I love the dedicated keys, although the mouse feels great and all, the scrolling wheel does not work well for some reason, every time I scroll up/down the pages keep jumping up and down, I checked online for fixes many mentioned that it could be dirty inside, but the mouse is 1 week out of the box and it the scrolling has been jumpy since day one. Other than that it is a great product.

Value for the Money?
I'm still trying to figure this out - I often play a first person shooter game. I am not at professional level but, I do quite well. I do not sped $100 on keyboard and mouse. I use Amazon Basic keyboard and low end mouse. Same goes for my wife. Being said that, I needed to purchase a keyboard for my wife. Not specific for gaming purpose but as regular all round keyboard. This item appeared to be a value item for the keyboard and the mouse was just a bonus. Keyboard appeared to have a compact packaging which i thought will take up less space on the mouse pad allowing more motion of the mouse. Turned out, mouse was not robust. With regular net surfing use, buttons started to act up and was not usable in few weeks. That's fine as my wife already uses Logitech G403 and works good for her. Now for the keyboard. It is light weight but, it is so light that with slight pressure, the keyboard keeps sliding on the mouse pad. There is no weight to it to stabilize the keyboard nor rubber grippers - noway for gaming and even just key stroke for regular use keeps moving the keyboard which is annoying. In a small package, keys are pressed together so tight that it uncomfortable for gaming and I often fat finger the keys. Even my wife who key strokes accurately and fast feels it is uncomfortable. The lettering on the keys have worn off very quick and there are many keys without lettering now. My Amazon Basic keyboard has held up well and has more spacing between keys - very comfortable. There are some LED light features on this keyboard but minimal - but do you really need lights even for gaming? So overall, it was definitely less expensive, light weight in small package, it really didn't work out for us as just a regular use keyboard. Keyboard still functions without an issue and my wife still plays game with it without any functional issue - just not comfortable. As a keyboard & mouse package, there is value but, when mouse quickly breaks, only the keyboard remains. At same cost-performance stand point, I think we should just got Amazon Basic keyboard. - Maybe this package will be great for kids. Or at least put a rubber grippers on the bottom of the keyboard.

Great starting out keyboard
We were given a touch screen computer and were not quite sure if we could use wireless on it and needed a keyboard quick,so we ordered this one. For a windows 7 it plugged right in worked great ,got here in two days and did a great job . Since finding out we could use wireless I have upgraded to the set I wanted but if you are just looking for the cheapest option that will work great and you can get fast it is perfect for that.

Ridiculously annoying!
The location of the backslash key is VERY annoying, and I have no idea why anyone would consciously design a keyboard this way when the majority of keyboards aren't set up like this. I guess it's my fault for not checking, but who thinks to check something like that? I've never had a keyboard with such annoying backslash key placement. ***Changing to 1 star. I can't freaking take it anymore, the Insert/home/delete/pgup/down keys are all messed up, too. In order to save what? 1cm of space? This keyboard is INFURIATING to use, simply by moving the standard enter key location (one of the most used keys on the keyboard??) makes me want to smash this thing to a million pieces. I thought I could get used to it, but I can't. I'm returning this thing.

Can't beat it for the price
I donated this to a local charity with a computer that I built for them. The mouse and the keyboard were of better quality than some more expensive options. I liked the feel and the responsiveness of the mouse that came with this combo. I didn't want anything wireless, because I didn't want them to have to replace batteries. The cords are a bit thin, and I hope that they last the test of time, but I haven't heard any complaints from the people using them. This is sitting in a public place being used by one person after the other and still performs well.
