Fits old LGA 1366 mounting holes, cools SUPER well!
I have an Intel Core i7-930 Bloomfield from a computer I built in 2010. Unlike the inaccurate claims of other coolers listed here, this CPU cooler was designed for and did fit the old LGA 1366 fan mounts. It came with a long philips screwdriver (that I didn't need though) and thermal paste, but I used Noctua NT-H2 thermal paste instead. I didn't realize until recently that the stock Intel CPU cooler did a poor job of cooling my CPU. According to HWiNFO64, my CPU would EASILY jump up to 180+F when loaded down with heavy video encoding. Now, with this seemingly "no-name" brand "upHere" CPU cooler, the maximum core temperature does not exceed 144F with the same heavy video encoding. The max core temperature is about 106F at idle. I think that's a stellar difference! This upHere CPU cooler also cleared all the other capacitors, RAM, and I/O heat sinks on my Gigabyte X58A-UD3R motherboard. It seems very well built and the fan is very quiet too running at about 1680 RPM max (~1440 RPM idle). My case fans are louder. The only thing remotely negative that I have say is that I did have to unmount my motherboard from my computer case (all but 1 screw) to have room to place the CPU cooler mount behind the motherboard, but that wasn't hard and more a factor of the cutout in my computer case. I am very happy with this Cooler!

Works well on old system.
Worked great. I have an Intel chip and took the motherboard off to affix the backplate not realizing I already had a backplate from my previous cooler. Doh! Went from temps of 90s down to 20.

Quieter than expected
The reviews I read were all over the place but I have no problems with my mid-range CPU that is NOT overclocked. The fan is reasonably quiet and the reported temperature is fine. I an not a gamer, I do some photo and video editing and basic home office applications.

Decent and quiet cooler, misleading packaging
No problems with the cooler so far. It was easy to install and it's big so ensure case clearance. It's quiet and we'll see how long the sleeve bearing lasts. The one thing that feels off is that the packaging indicates the cooler has RGB lighting, and that is not a feature on the cooler I received.

great heatink for the mony
keeps an Intel 5820k cool; it's not overclocked or anything but it's chilling.

Works PERFECTLY with AM4!
This installed in 30 seconds to my Motherboard. (MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi Motherboard). You use the two supplied clamps that come preinstalled on the cooler and it snaps right in place. Its tight which is good. It is scary installing it but it goes right on. I used ARCTIC MX-4 2019 thermal compound with an AMD 3600X. During Heavy Gaming (COD MW) at Ultra Settings, it keeps everything between 75-80 degrees. Does the job well and you cant beat it for the price. This was for the upHere CCF150CF High Performance CPU Air Cooler

Very good CPU cooler for the price
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very good price, good reviews, supports AM3/AM3+ motherboards as well as AM4. Ease of installation: Easier to install than a lot of the competitors and I've installed several of them. Value for money: Excellent value for the money. Temperature control: Good temperature control on 125W TDP AMD3 processor.

A cool cooler for a hot processor
I'm using this product with an Intel Core I7 920 and a DX58SO motherboard on a 2008 retro build. It works great. That processor is notorious for consuming s lot of power and running very hot. This keeps it nice and cool. I will say this...size wise it is yuge!! Typically the cooler would be installed with the fans oriented vertically, but I installed it 90 degrees the other way. Not sure it matters much but the tall Northbridge heat sink on the mobo makes it physically necessary to orient it that way. Clears the RAM modules and other hardware just fine as it has more than one way it can be positioned. As long as your case can hold it. This Antec 300 case feels pretty full with this inside

Be aware of the COOLER design and your RAM sticks
GREAT Product, QUALITY built. Will purchase this product again as required for cpu cooling. Only drawback, (My observation), because of the design where the riser portion of the heat sync is upwards and to the left, this restricted my installation of DDR4 Ram with heat shield in the design. my motherboard has two sticks of DDR4 Ram on each side of the cpu. the ones to the right are not a problem for this cooler, however the ones to the left cannot be inserted because the height of DDR4 ram with built in heat shield protrudes into the space that the cooler rises into on the left side of the cpu.
