Ergonomics! The entire reason I chose THIS particular case is because the back side is "square" instead of rounded like the original remote. I hate the round-back controllers because they feel like squeezing a bar of soap when I press buttons... Bloop!... They twist and slip around in my hand. This SQUARED BACK design does not twist in my hand, and gives a reassurance to a button press/squeeze. Excellent! The "glow" is a gimmick; it'll never glow enough to "find it in the dark". But that's OK. The light blue is a nice color that's easier to find than gray/black remotes. The side-button (volume) rocker takes a bit more feeling-around to adjust. But it still has a nice tactile feel, and I'm getting used to it. This case is super easy and simple to slip on, and it's the perfect snugness. It protects our often-dropped remote. Thanks, Fintie!

The Chromecast remote is slick and round at the back. Dumb design. This jell cover give the remote some texture and also makes the back flat, like a remote should be. Added bonus is that it glows in the dark. Not something I care about, but it's kinda cool. I purchase two that were different colors to differentiate from my living room and family room, just in case they got moved around. A good value and the fit is perfect and the volume buttons on the side works perfectly.

This remote cover looks fine, fits well and makes holding the remote much easier. It had a noticeable smell out of the box but a couple of hours in the sun baked the smell out completely. The seller could raise the volume button cover more to make it easier to feel them and control the volume without looking. But I'm fairly accurate hitting the volume buttons now after just a few hours of using the cover. Some say the cover is loose but I don't find it so. It is easy to move the edges of the cover to the side but I don't find that happens in ordinary use.

Excellent product. The design of the Chromecast is ridiculous with a rounded back. This case flattens the back, so it won't turn in your hand when trying to push a button, and you can operate it on a flat surface. Would definitely buy this again.

It fits perfectly and it doesn't slip. Previously my remote fell to the floor 3 - 4 times a day and I'd have to find case, cover, & batteries. The cover was always coming off. With this silicon cover being one piece of it ever falls it will stay together. Love the feel of the case in my hand & that it stays where I put it with the patterned back. I'm not having to look to wherever it slid to with out this cover. I highly recommend it. The color is great it's easy to find where you set it.

I wanted to give it some time before I mane a review of this case. It really does do its job. It keeps the remote from sliding off the couch or out of my hands. And if I do happen to drop it, the back battery cover doesn't pop off and send the batteries into a different dimension. The perk I didn't think about is that its hard to tell directionality of the remote (which end is the front) and with the little lip extra bit on top at the rear of the remote its very easy to know at night in the dark.

These make that slippery sucker easier to handle. I was dropping the remote due to the rounded back, which looks good but squirts right out of your hand. This silicone remote control condom solved the issue. The sleeve has a nice flat back and you can hang on to it. What ever type of silicone they may be a bit to low in durometer rating (hardness) because it grows out of shape over time. This stretches enough now that the remote wants to pop out when grabbed. PROTIP for the manufacuter: get a harder silicone and maybe cure it more and it won't have this issue.

An amazing case, good feel, good grip on the remote, easier to press te buttons and sits on the table flat (front or back). Doesn't slide out of your hands or off the cough and has a slight impact cushion just in case you drop it. I bought this for my workshop tv, wanted something rugged. Ended up buying another one for the house. I bought them when they were $12, they went up to $20 and that's about the same price of a Spigen which looks a lot nicer. I'm hesitant to buy at $20 but it would still be worth it since I had to replace a remote once, this case will likely prevent another break.

Holds remote well without any obstruction of the keys. No issues getting it put on. I really really like the flat bottom. Feels good in hands.
