Size S/M, men's size 9E shoe size. Managed to injure (not tear) my Achilles tendon. This elastic ankle support fits very tightly and puts the pressure on my ankle, making walking more comfortable. Won't fit in my dress shoes but works well in my running/hiking shoes with a thin sock over the ankle support. I don't wear this support at night or when I don't need it for walking.

I have chronic pain in my talus region ( front top of the foot/ankle where foot and shin meet) that makes me difficult to walk barefoot. I sometimes get pain even with athletic shoes on. I was looking for ankle support products and I ordered this along with other open heel-ed products. I left a review on the highly ranked open heel-ed muay thai sleeve which was disappointing. This is the winner for the great support in my desired area: talus region and ankle all around, yet gentle on my skin and no adverse blood circulation constriction. The moment I put this on, I felt no pain and was able to walk on my barefoot like a normal person. I kept this on all night and my toes were warm and pink, not to mention that I was able to walk normal without pain for several trips to bathroom and kitchen, etc. I wear women's size 9 in athletic shoes and this S/M fits well. I placed an order for 3 more of this to wear both feet and back up for washing. Truly wonderful product and I highly recommend this to people who have similar problems.
