Amazon Basics 12-Inch Plastic Ruler with Finger Grip, 4-Pack, Clear

I ordered these to teach my grandson measurement and ruler use. The raised top bar makes it easier for kids to manipulate and being see through makes it easier to read and line up with the objects being measured. I’m a retired teacher and would recommend these for use with elementary aged kids.

A good set! Having several means I'm more likely to be able to find one while wood working! I keep one on my sharpening kit for flattening the back of my plane irons - they are nice and thin so seem to work well for this purpose. Small size is good for measuring marking small pieces of wood. Scans goes all the way to the end of the router at the 0 end. Have mm and inches - I use both!

These stainless steel 6 inch rulers are so handy. At first I was wondering if 4 was too many, but I leave these rulers everywhere around the house so they are easily accessible. The increment lettering and lines are engraved into the steel. If you run your fingernail across the ruler, you can feel the engraved lines and text that go into the steel. Super sharp and clear. I would buy these again. Can't have enough quality rulers and tape measures around the house.

I love this type of rulers for everyday work. Very handy when mesuaring hardware and small details. They are on the slim side, so the text on the back is somewhat small. They have sharp edges, so be carefull when you put them in your pocket! Awesome price for the pack.

If I had to give any negatives for these rulers, it's that their edges are a little sharp. If you weren't careful, you could find a way to injure yourself on them. However, they are just the size I was looking for and very easy to read.

I have used a cork-backed 6" ruler for a while and find it quite handy. I wanted to get one for each of my family members but one wanted his ruler to start measuring from the end, and mine did not. I found these that do start right at the end. No cork back but instead conversions! They also have many different increments for both imperial and metric measurements. The best thing is the price. Four is a terrific value and everyone was happy to have their own small ruler. I will be ordering more so I have a few extra.

I would buy again if I needed more but you get 4 in the pack and I will wear out long before they do. The increments are etched into the stainless steel and then painted black. Much better than I expected. Nice pocket size for wood working and around the house use. You can't go wrong with this value pack of quality rules.

The cork on the back is so thin it might as well not even be there, ruler sliders all over. Ruler it's self is very thin.

Ce sont des produits de tous les jours, des produits « basiques », qui sont proposés sous cette dénomination. La règle est graduée jusqu'à 30 cm, a une largeur de 3,2 cm et les bords arrondis, ce qui prévient tout accident. Un trou réalisé sur un côté permet de pouvoir l'accrocher, notamment au-dessus d'un établi. Le dessous en liège permet d'éviter tout glissement de la règle lors de son utilisation, protège le support sur lequel la règle est posée mais aussi évite le désagréable bruit que peut émettre une règle métallique posée sans ménagement ! Il s'agit d'une règle multifonctions, aussi bien adaptée au travail de bureau qu'au bricolage. Ces règles sont vendues à un prix concurrentiel (moins de 10 euros le lot) et offrent ainsi un rapport qualité-prix tout à fait satisfaisant. Je recommande +++ !

Ho preso questo set di righelli AmazonBasics per realizzare alcuni semplici strumenti di misura per il mio piccolo laboratorio: un righello per tracciatura, un truschino ed un calibro di profondita'. Sono strumenti che vedete spesso realizzati dai maker, ma ho in mente di realizzarli con fissaggi magnetici anziche' con le solite viti di tenuta che alla fine rovinano sempre un po' il righello. Dovevo quindi partire da un righello in acciaio, chiaramente ferromagnetico (alcuni tipi di inox non lo sono). Questi righelli sono perfetti per il mio scopo: sono maneggevoli (hanno una scala di 15 cm e lunghezza totale di un paio di cm superiore come vedete in foto), spessore buono (0.7mm come vedete in foto), e soprattutto sono precisi. Questo viene spesso dato per scontato, ma molti righelli in realta' si perdono qualche decimo sul taglio di testa: vedete invece una misura con il calibro che mostra l'ottima precisione di questi righelli. Anche la prova del magnete a neodimio e' superata, come vedete in una delle foto. Insomma, come dicevo soddisfano tutti i miei criteri. Avendone 4 in un kit, posso realizzare i 3 strumenti di cui sopra e tenerne uno per la prossima idea :-). Ogni righello ha la doppia scala pollici / cm (mi servira' di rado ma non escludo che ogni tanto faccia comodo) ed una scala di conversione sul retro, comoda quando si devono convertire le misure tipicamente americane come 7/8" in mm. Non ho riscontrato difetti; forse avrei preferito giusto uno spessore maggiore, diciamo 1mm, ma e' anche vero che ne faro' un utilizzo particolare. Io ho ricevuto il prodotto gratuitamente, come parte del programma Amazon Vine, con l'impegno a scriverne una review onesta ed indipendente. In questo momento non e' ancora disponibile il prezzo del set, quindi non e' facile dare una valutazione che tenga presente tutti i fattori. Confido che sara' comunque abbastanza conveniente, in quanto si tratta di un prodotto a marchio Amazon. Basandomi soltanto sulla qualita' effettiva degli oggetti, che come dicevo trovo ottima, assegno un punteggio pieno a 5 stelle. Ovviamente dovrete poi valutare il prezzo effettivo al momento dell'acquisto.
