Review: Great book - As a former homeschooler, we needed something to work on over the summer because we used to school year-round. This was a quick and fun activity for both my 9 and 11 year olds who had never done logic puzzles before. Starts out simple and the puzzles seem to get more complex. Review: Tricky and fun logic puzzles - This is a great workbook for practicing logic skills. My son enjoys these puzzles. Some are quite tricky!

Great for logical reasoning
This short book provides a lot of helpful exercises related to logical reasoning. The puzzles are straightforward and initially easy, but grow in complexity as you move through the book. Overall, the puzzles are appropriate for most 9-10 year old children. Highly recommend. I also recommend the Balance Benders books. We have had great success with those as well. Good activity for young minds
Ordered this and some other logic and sudoku puzzle books for the grands during long trips. The logic puzzles are good, some require careful reading, and the kids enjoy doing them. I'm very pleased with this product and so are their parents.

Some good puzzles, but has incorrect answer
We have used Mind benders books earlier and found them interesting to fill in the "I am bored..." period. Pros - puzzles make the kids think about indirect connections - good way to help kids exercise brains, which is not school work. Cons - (photo attached) - Incorrect answer for the puzzle. An adult must check kid's work as incorrect answers don't help. - Ambiguous names, can be male or female. Bobby, Pat can be boy or girl. I feel the kids are expected to figure out indirect connections here. I would say about 50% of the puzzles in the book will require for the kid to focus well and spend time finding the relations, specially the 2-D puzzles. If you are looking for quick-solving puzzles, then this may not be the right one. My 9-year old enjoys solving these puzzles, and checks his work on his own, except the one that has wrong answer printed. Overall, I would say a good puzzle book and can help act as a good change from standard school work, alongwith other variety of puzzles.

It was great for my son
It was great for my son. it is really hard to motivate kids to do repetitive homework that comes from school. I think exercises like these definitely help kids develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills. He was enjoying to solve these problems.

My granddaughter loves doing these. She is in the 3rd grade and finds the beginning ones are a little too easy, but as she worked her way through the book, she found it more challenging.
