It has the standard letter shaping as well as silly sentences that children laugh at. It helped mine to enjoy the task at home rather than have a tantrum. The book helped encourage handwriting and made it fun.

Nice quality book, fun and child appropriate sentences (as in they're actually amusing!) Only shame is no 'joined up' handwriting.

Good book for handwriting practice, my son really enjoyed working on it

My intelligent 9 year old son has trouble writing (dyslexia assessment soon) and cannot do cursive writing so we're focusing instead on clear normal writing. All other exercise books for non-cursive writing were aimed at up to age 6 or so and I know he'd refuse to use those books. The silly sentences made him laugh and there's enough space to make up his own too using their guide lines. Fantastic book - really has helped us.

Good exercises for the kids

My son improved his handwriting because of this. I recommend it for kids

I love this book, my son is only 7 years old. The words are changeling and the words are a bit some. But we love the fun sentences, he had learned to slow down when he is writing. We get to create our own sully sentences, and he love the space to draw !

I really like the format and will use it for my son. However, there is a typo for the word “individual” on the back cover, so I’m reluctant to recommend it to my students.
