10601 Dirtex Powder Cleaner, 1-Pound

This is the best!! I have used this product for years. Recently, I purchased a house with extremely greasy wood cabinets (like really really disgusting bad). I used this product on them and the grease comes right off easily! I also use this for all of my wall washing needs. 100% will always recommend Dirtex.

I've been using this cleaner for years. It's a must is you have children in the house. Dirtex even cleans OLD dirt. Great product to clean the walls before you paint. You may not have to paint once you're done. It's so satisfying to watch the dirt disappear without a lot of scrubbing. The formula is concentrated, you really don't need much for regular cleaning. The one-pound package will take you far, so don't be fooled by the small size.

I originally purchased this item, after researching options online, to clean 30 years of tobacco off the walls and the original unpainted woodwork of a 1950s house. I then used it to clean the walls and bathroom in a grungy 1910 house. I have now purchased it again for a 1930s gem that has been a neglected rental. Apparently the last tenant was dealing with depression... and it shows. Photo is of the most recent clean. Just used Savogran, wet cloths, and hot water. Photo is after my very first wipe (I did 2 with separate shop cloths), and it is super evident that I cleaned in the upper right corner of the image. I have been recommending Dirtex/Savogran to others for 5 years. It's wood-safe, great for paint prep, and it completely brought the beauty back to very dirty kitchen linoleum. Easy to wipe clean with a wet cloth. I even used it to clean off the front wall of my home, porch ceiling, and porch railing last week. Excellent value for your money.
