Assortment of springs were well packaged in hard, compartmentalized container for easier selection. Although specs did not say "made of steel", material used is of high quality. It takesA fair amount of force to cut it ( using a wire cutter ) so it must be made of steel. Stretching a few, they showed good tension/compression. Overall, I'm satisfied with its quality & affordablePrice with sufficient assortment of sizes for various applications.
